Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present application discloses a power headroom report (PHR) method and apparatus. A user equipment (UE) determines a PHR reporting manner according to the structure of an uplink subframe in an active serving cell, calculates PHR according to the reporting manner, and sends the PHR to a base station. According to the present disclosure, a UE proactively determines the PHR reporting manner, calculates PHR and report the PHR, thus implements PHR reporting process at the UE.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method for RACH re-attempt, a user equipment and a base station. The method comprises the steps of: by a base station, determining system configuration information and transmitting the system configuration information to a user equipment; and then, by the user equipment, transmitting a preamble sequence to perform random access, and if the random access is failed, performing RACH attempt according to the received RACH re-attempt configuration information to perform random access until a preset decision condition is satisfied. The embodiment of the present invention is used for RACH re-attempt when random access fails.-

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a base station, a user equipment (UE), and a method for uplink resource allocation and a method for uplink transmission, which are applied in the field of communication technologies. The method includes that: a base station allocates Bandwidth Part (BWP) resources and intra-BWP Physical Resource Block (PRB) resources to a UE, and then transmits BWP resource indication information and intra-BWP PRB resource indication information to the UE. The BWP resource indication information is used for indicating the BWP resources allocated by the base station to the UE. The intra-BWP PRB resource indication information is used for indicating the intra-BWP PRB resources allocated by the base station, and then the UE receives the BWP resource indication information and the intra-BWP PRB resource indication information transmitted by the base station, and then determines the BWP resources and the intra-BWP PRB resources allocated by the base station according to the BWP resource indication information and the intra-BWP PRB resource indication information so as to perform uplink transmission.

According to the present application, resources of category-2 services can be reused for receiving category-1 service data to satisfy requirements for low delay of the category-1 services and increase the utility efficiency of resources of the category-2 services.

When the present disclosure is implemented, a lower transmission delay and higher transmission reliability can be achieved for a control channel.

Therefore, the terminal can hold a low peak-to-average power ratio, and the power consumption can be effectively saved. The base station can complete signal detection in a moderate detection complexity by multi-terminal joint detection. The detection complexity and the performance are balanced.

Abstract: A filtering-based signal transmission method is provided. The method includes a transmitter performing carrier modulation on each signal from at least one sub-band, and adding a cyclic prefix and a cyclic postfix thereto, respectively, performing time-domain filtering on the signal, added with the cyclic prefix and the cyclic postfix, from the respective sub-band, and transmitting the filtered signal from the at least one sub-band. The present disclosure further provides a filtering-based signal receiving method. The filtering-based signal receiving method includes performing, by a receiver, time-domain matched filtering, corresponding to at least one sub-band, on each received signal, removing, by the receiver, a cyclic prefix and a cyclic postfix from the filtered signal from the at least one sub-band, and performing carrier demodulation, respectively, and detecting and estimating, by the receiver, the demodulated signal from the at least one sub-band.
