Abstract:
A wiring harness is arranged at a predetermined location in a vehicle such as an automobile. The wiring harness comprises a plurality of electrical wires and a protection member in which to-be-protected portion of the electrical wires is inserted en bloc to be protected thereby. The protection member includes a plurality of main protection members serving as a principal part of the protection member for protecting the electrical wires and a plurality of secondary protection members serving as a secondary part with respect to the principal part, the main protection member being a corrugated tube and the secondary protection member being a standardized pipe.
Abstract:
To simply provide a water-stopping structures for shielded electric wire in the shielded portion of the wire at a low cost, a water stop structure in a shielded electric wire is comprised by stripping a sheath 4 of the shielded electric wire in the middle part thereof; permeating an adhesive into the exposed shield member 3; overlaying a heat shrinkable tube 12 over the shield member via hot melt 14; and heat shrinking the heat shrinkable tube 12 in a state where both ends of the heat shrinkable tube 12 are overlapped with the outer periphery of the sheath 4.
Abstract:
A protector includes a protector body which has a receiving portion for receiving at least one wire. A groove is formed on a bottom face of the receiving portion. The groove has a width smaller than a diameter of the wire.

Abstract:
In a shielded connector having a connector housing subjected to conductive electroplating, a conductive shield ring is fitted into a housing chamber of the connector housing and a partner-side shield contact portion is inserted into the inside of the shield ring. The shield contact has resilient contact pieces and is slidable within a predetermined range within the shield ring. The shield contact has a split portion so that is has resilience in the diameter expanding direction thereof. The shield contact is locked with the shield ring. A pressure-insertion space is formed within the housing chamber and the shield ring is provided with pressure-insertion portions.
Abstract:
In the present packing hold structure, in a packing, there are provided projecting portions which respectively project toward the two mutually opposing inner surfaces 13 of a packing storage groove 13, and a dimension between the two projecting portions is set larger than the width dimension 13 of the packing storage groove 13. While the packing is stored within the packing storage groove, the projecting portions of the packing are respectively pressed against the two inner surfaces of the packing storage groove 12, thereby allowing the packing 12 to be held by itself within the packing storage groove.
Abstract:
A switch-equipped connector device, comprises: a case having an opening; a cover to be removably mounted on the case so as to cover the opening; a first connection terminal on the side of load and a second connection terminal on the side of a power supply, a connection portion between which is exposed from the opening, and which are held in the case; a short-circuiting terminal attached to the cover; a switch connector located in said opening, the switch connector to be electrically connected to the short-circuiting terminal in the opening, the short-circuiting terminal being disconnected from said switch connector when the cover is removed from the case; and a switching device connected to the second connection terminal through the power supply, the switching device interrupting power supply to the second connection terminal when the cover is removed from the case. In the above configuration, the switching device is operated when the short-circuiting terminal is electrically disengaged from the switch connector in a removed state of the cover so that power supply to the second connection terminal is interrupted. Therefore, when the cover is detached from the case for maintenance of the connector device, an operator can remove the connection terminal on the side of a power supply with safety without receiving electric shock.
Abstract:
A service plug includes a circuit accommodating body that has circuit terminals internally arranged therein, the circuit terminals being connected to end portions of an open electric circuit; and a plug main body that has a fuse and that is fitted with the circuit accommodating body. The plug main body has a pair of terminals that are electrically connected to fuse terminals of the fuse and that are engageable with the circuit terminals, respectively.
Abstract:
Two separate lids are openably provided at two power receiving portions, respectively. A lid fixing unit is provided for sliding movement in a direction of the juxtaposition of the two power receiving portions. The lid fixing unit overlaps both of the two lids to prevent the two lids from being opened when the lid fixing unit is disposed in an intermediate position between the two power receiving portions. The lid fixing unit is movable away from one of the two lids to face the other lid, thereby allowing the opening of the one lid, and the lid fixing unit is movable away from the other lid to face the one lid, thereby allowing the opening of the other lid.
Abstract:
In a shielded connector, an opening into which a shielded wire is to be inserted is formed in a rear portion of a housing, a part of a metal shell disposed in the housing is formed as an exposed portion which is exposed on an inner periphery of the opening, a terminal is clamped to be connected to a conductor of a leading end of the shielded wire, and a contact which makes contact with the exposed portion is clamped to be connected to a braided shield portion on an outer periphery of an inner sheath. A projection which, when the terminal is fitted and fixed at a given position in the opening, interferes with the contact to block the contact from moving toward the terminal, is formed on an inner periphery of the opening.
