    摘要: This horizontal axis wind turbine comprises a plurality of yaw motors that are provided on one of either a nacelle or a tower, and a gear 2 that is provided on the other of either the nacelle or the tower and that engages with the drive gears 4m, 4n of the plurality of yaw motors, such that when the plurality of yaw motors stop the rotation of the nacelle, some of the yaw motors are stopped and held by yaw motor brakes, then after a delay, the other yaw motors are stopped and held by yaw motor brakes. When the other yaw motors are stopped, the drive gears 4m of the some yaw motors and the drive gears 4n of the other yaw motors hold the gear 2 by pressing against the gear 2 in opposite directions of rotation.

    摘要: Even when a remaining amount of an image memory built in a digital camera is decreased, the photographing can be further continued while reserving a photographed image. An image which is obtained from an image input unit including image pickup means is accumulated into an image memory. When a remaining amount calculating unit detects that the remaining amount of the imag memory is small, an image record discriminating unit compares it with an image size in a photograph mode at that time which is obtained from an image size table, thereby discriminating whether the continuation of the photographing can be performed or not. When the photographing is impossible, an image selecting unit selects an old image, an image in which the number of colors is small, or the like on the basis of management data regarding the photographed images in a memory managing table. The selected image is transmitted by a PHS communication by a data transmitting apparatus. After it was transmitted, the image is erased from the image memory.

    摘要: The purpose of the invention is to protect, in a horizontal axis wind turbine with an exhaust aperture for exhausting air from within the nacelle, the exhaust aperture and the internal structures from storm winds through facing the exhaust aperture away from the storm wind, even when storm winds are received from all directions relative to the nacelle. A rotary duct is attached to the nacelle so as to be able to rotate freely in the yaw direction, and is rotated in the yaw direction in accordance with changes in the wind direction. The exhaust aperture is provided at a position that changes direction depending on the rotation of the rotary duct in the yaw direction. By rotating the rotary duct in the yaw direction so that the exhaust aperture will face the downwind side in accordance with changes in the wind direction, the exhaust aperture can be faced away from storm winds, even when storm winds are received from all directions in relation to the nacelle.
