Abstract:
A rolling bearing composed of a combination of bearing wings formed with a steel material and rolling elements formed with a ceramic material, wherein the residual austenite amount of the steel material forming the rolling rings is controlled to a specific value. By the construction, at rolling of the rolling elements formed with a relatively hard ceramic material, the occurrence of the surface scratches of the rolling elements can be restrained, which results in restraining the vibrations and noises caused by the rolling bearing.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for producing a polyolefin composition having a narrow composition distribution and is characterized in that when at least two olefins are copolymerized in the presence of a transition metal compound catalyst using at least two gas phase fluidized bed reactors, a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon is allowed to exist in each reactor in a concentration from 0.1 to 30 mol %, and the ratio of the concentration (C2) of a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon in a reactor of a second stage to the concentration (C1) of a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon in a reactor of a first stage (C2/C1) is 0.13 or more. Further, the present invention provides a method for producing a polyolefin composition by multi-stage polymerization, which can prevent sheeting in the reactor and can give a polyolefin composition stably with high productivity, and is characterized in that a saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon is allowed to exist in a transport line for transporting a polymer particle extracted from a fluidized bed reactor in the previous stage to a fluidized bed reactor in the subsequent stage at a concentration from 0.1 to 30 mol %.
Abstract:
A rolling bearing comprises an inner ring, an outer ring and a plurality of rolling elements therebetween, and is used, for example, in a spindle motor for driving a hard disk. The inner ring is made of, for example, high-carbon chromium steel, the outer ring is made of, for example, stainless steel, and each rolling element is made of ceramics, for example zirconia, of which coefficient of linear expansion is in the range of 7×10−6/° C. to 15×10−6/° C. The bearing rings and the rolling elements are substantially equal to each other in coefficient of linear expansion. Thus, the change in pre-load due to temperature variations is small.

Abstract:
A ball bearing assembly is provided with a ball retainer having a radially extending guide portion that serves to guide the ball retainer relative to either an inner or an outer ring of the ball bearing assembly. The ball retainer is provided with a series of ball pockets with each of the ball pockets having a central cylindrical portion that transitions smoothly into inner and outer portions having spherical configurations. The diameter of the central cylindrical portion is smaller than the diameters of the inner and outer spherical portions. The configurations of the ball pockets ensures that a clearance will be maintained between each of the balls and the edge portions of the ball pockets even when the ball retainer is deflected relative to the inner and outer rings of the ball bearing assembly. The internal configuration of the ball pockets ensures that the amount of lubricant retained within the ball pockets is optimized. The optimization of the amount of lubricant retained within the ball pockets results in a desired level of frictional torque generated by the ball bearing assembly and the elimination of abnormal noises generated during high speed rotation of the ball bearing assembly.
Abstract:
An electrolytic ionized water producer of a continuous type is disclosed which does not require users to perform complicated operations and which makes it possible to obtain ionized water easily with a simple operation, to remove the fear of obtaining unnecessary ionized water in the case of reversing polarity and, further, to maintain a stable electrolyzing capability for a long time while removing scale in an optimum way in every water supplying operation. Specifically, the electrolytic ionized water producer is provided with a control circuit which operates at least a polarity reversing relay provided in a circuit for applying a DC voltage to a positive electrode and a negative electrode, detects water supply and zero flow water supply with a signal from a flow rate sensor and applies a DC voltage to the respective electrodes at a normal connection position when water is supplied to produce ionized water, sets a scale removing period of time corresponding to a water supplying period of time corresponding to integrated signals from the flow rate sensor, and applies a DC voltage to the respective electrodes at a reverse connection position only for a set period of time of scale removing operation in every water supplying operation.
