    摘要: A magnetic recording head is provided. The magnetic recording head comprises a write pole and a write coil structure configured to generate a magnetic field in the write pole. The write coil structure comprises a substrate layer and a coil material disposed within the substrate layer. The write coil structure is substantially free of photoresist. A method for forming a write coil structure is also provided. The method comprises the steps of providing a substrate layer, forming a photoresist pattern mask over the substrate layer, opening a damascene trench in the substrate layer by reactive ion etching, and disposing a coil material into the damascene trench in the substrate layer.

In one embodiment, a method of identifying faces in a video includes the stages of: generating face tracks from input video streams; selecting key face images for each face track; clustering the face tracks to generate face clusters; creating face models from the face clusters; and correlating face models with a face model database. In another embodiment, a system for identifying faces in a video includes a face model database having face entries with face models and corresponding names, and a video face identifier module. In yet another embodiment, the system for identifying faces in a video can also have a face model generator.

    摘要: The BRAF gene has been found to be activated by mutation in human cancers, predominantly in malignant melanoma. We tested 476 primary tumors, including 214 lung, 126 head and neck, 54 thyroid, 27 bladder, 38 cervical, and 17 prostate cancers, for the BRAF T1796A mutation by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-restriction enzyme analysis of BRAF exon 15. In 24 (69%) of the 35 papillary thyroid carcinomas examined, we found a missense thymine (T)→adenine (A) transversion at nucleotide 1796 in the BRAF gene (T1796A). The T1796A mutation was detected in four lung cancers and in six head and neck cancers but not in bladder, cervical, or prostate cancers. Our data suggested that activating BGRAF mutations may be an important even in the development of papillary thyroid cancer. Moreover, BRAF mutation reliably predicts a poor prognosis for papillary thyroid carcinomas.

    摘要: Low VOC vinyl ester resins exhibit improved cure in an oxygen containing environment. The vinyl ester resins comprise the reaction product of an epoxy resin having at least two epoxy groups per molecule; a polybasic anhydride; unsaturated monobasic acids comprising up to about 10 molar percent dicyclopentadienyl monomaleate based on the total unsaturated monobasic acids, wherein the vinyl ester resin has a viscosity of less than about 1200 cp measured at a shear of 500 s−1 in styrene at 70% non-volatile matter. Barrier coats and gel coats comprising such vinyl ester resins have acceptable tackiness and physical characteristics. A process to make such vinyl ester resins is also described.
