摘要: Signaling for allocating communication resources is communicated in a wireless communication network. The signaling is for allocating the communication resources in a first time duration and a second time duration for relaying data, in respective hops of a multi-hop relay between first and second end nodes, by user equipment (UE) including one or more relay UEs at each hop for example. Such relaying of data in the respective hops involves relaying the data in a first hop of the multi-hop relay and in a second hop of the multi-hop relay between the first end node and the second end node. The communication resources in the first time duration are allocated for relaying the data in the first hop of the multi-hop relay and the communication resources in the second time duration are allocated for relaying the data in the second hop of the multi-hop relay.

摘要: In a cellular communications network comprising a plurality of transmitting sites wherein each transmitting site comprises at least one antenna, a method of serving a given data stream to a target mobile terminal, comprising: designating at least two of the plurality of transmitting sites as cooperating sites; assigning tones to each transmitting site from a sub-band associated with the cooperating sites; dividing the data stream into at least two sub-data streams, each of the sub-data streams for transmission over selected tones; and interlacing tones of the cooperating sites in accordance with a selected one of a time switching and a frequency switching transmit diversity technique.

摘要: In some embodiments of the invention, OFDM symbols are transmitted as a plurality of clusters. A cluster includes a plurality of OFDM sub-carriers in frequency, over a plurality of OFDM symbol durations in time. Each cluster includes data as well as pilot information as a reference signal for channel estimation. In some embodiments, a plurality of clusters collectively occupy the available sub-carrier set in the frequency domain that is used for transmission. In some embodiments of the invention data and/or pilots are spread within each cluster using code division multiplexing (CDM). In some embodiments pilots and data are separated by distributing data on a particular number of the plurality of OFDM symbol durations and pilots on a remainder of the OFDM symbol durations. CDM spreading can be performed in time and/or frequency directions.

By processing the reference-signal-based observation in conjunction with the sensing-based observation, the location management function may determine an association between the sensing-based observation and the reference-signal-based observation. The location management function may then transmit, to the UE having the UE identity information determined from the reference-signal-based observation, an indication of the position hypothesis derived from the sensing-based observation.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided for integrated communication and sensing. For example, an electronic device may transmit a radio frequency (RF) pulse signal in the active phase of a periodic sensing cycle, and sense in the passive phase of the sensing cycle, a reflection of the RF pulse signal reflected from an object. The RF pulse signal is defined by a waveform for carrying communication data between electronic devices. The sensed RF pulse signal is at least a portion of the transmitted or reflected RF pulse signal, wherein the portion is equal to or greater than a threshold value for the object being within a sensing range of the first electronic device. The electronic device may also receive a communication signal from another electronic device during the passive phase.

摘要: Some aspects of the present disclosure enable a network to account for impacts of digital transmit and receive precoding at the user equipment (UE) side in the presence of UE self-interference that may occur during full duplex (FD) operation. Some aspects of the present disclosure include joint downlink (DL) node selection or beam selection, or both, and UE self-interference emulation, so that the UE is enabled with FD operation that includes receiving from one node, but transmitting towards another node. When compared with the case where the UE receives from, and transmits, to a same node, because when two separate nodes are involved and the two nodes are more physically separated, the chance of achieving higher cross-link isolation, and hence FD transmission, is higher.

摘要: Embodiments relate to outer coding in communications between a first network device and a second network device. A transport block (TB) and a first parity code block that is based on contents of the TB are transmitted from the first network device to the second network device. The first network device receives feedback information that is transmitted from the second network device. The feedback information indicates a decoding failure of the TB. The first network device generates a second parity check CB that is based on the contents of the TB and is different from the first parity check CB and transmits the second parity check CB to the second network device. The second network device receives the second parity check CB and performs error detection decoding of the TB based on the second parity check CB.
