    摘要： A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device comprises the steps of selectively etching a semiconductor substrate to form a groove therein, forming a first layer of a conductivity type on the sides and the bottom of the groove, forming a second layer of an insulation type along the inner surface of the first layer and the semiconductor substrate, forming a third layer of a conductivity type along the inner surface of the second layer, patterning the third layer to form a capacitor electrode, forming a fourth layer of an insulation type which covers the capacitor electrode, forming a fifth layer on the fourth layer so as to fill up the groove, etching the fifth layer so as to remain only in the groove, and forming a sixth layer of an insulation type on the fifth layer.

A base insert made of metal is disposed next to the side walls, and a flexible net insert is connected to the inner surface side of the upper side of the base insert through the attaching plate. The base insert, the net insert and the attaching plate are covered by the coating layer made of soft synthetic resin. The net insert is connected to the attaching plate by means of sewing, and the attaching plate is fixed to the base insert preferably by rivets.

    摘要： An illumination apparatus adapted for illuminating a subject with light comprises a plurality of fluorescent substances each having a different spectral characteristic, a drive device for repetitively locating the fluorescent substances at a predetermined position and a light source for illuminating the fluorescent substances. The illumination apparatus further includes a slit for focusing light on a subject to be illuminated. When the illumination apparatus is incorporated as a transfer section into a recording system such as a facsimile and a copying machine, the fluorescent substances are alternatively positioned at a predetermined location to illuminate a recording sheet, thus making it possible to obtain a clearly recorded image with high precision and at high speed.

    摘要： There is disclosed a pad for use in an air bag device enclosing an air bag which inflates in case of an accident. The device is mounted to mount members disposed around the bag. The pad is shaped like a box, and comprises an upper wall and side walls extending downward from the fringes of the upper wall. The pad is molded integrally with an insert on which a coat layer is formed out of a soft synthetic resin. The coat layer has a thin-walled portion that breaks when the air bag inflates. The thin-walled portion is disposed at a given position on the upper wall. The insert comprises a rectangular tubular base portion made from a synthetic resin and a plurality of flexible nets disposed on opposite sides of the thin-walled portion. The base portion is disposed inside the side walls. The nets are disposed on the upper wall and connected to the top of the base portion. An attachment portion for mounting the pad to the mount members and setting portions for setting the pad in a mold used to mold the coat layer are formed on the base portions.

    摘要： A first recording medium of automatic telephone answering apparatus records an OGM (Outgoing Message) and a second recording medium records ICMs (Incoming Messages). Immediately after the first ICM is recorded, a first muting portion and a first cue signal (control signal) are sequentially recorded on the second recording medium. Then, the second recording medium is rewound to a position intermediate the length of the first cue signal and the automatic answering mode is reset. Before recording of the second ICM, a second muting portion of a predetermined duration is recorded on the second recording medium, so as to modify the first cue signal to form a second cue signal shorter than the first cue signal. The second ICM is then recorded on the second recording medium. This process is repeated for subsequent ICMs so that a short (second) cue signal marks the separation between each pair of successive ICMs and a long (first) cue signal marks the end of all the ICMs.

    摘要： A degassing apparatus, adapted for use in a molding apparatus having a mold cavity, includes a spool having a bore, a gas inlet opening and a gas outlet opening. The gas inlet and outlet openings are in selective communication and non-communication with each other. A reciprocatingly slidable valve body engages a conforming valve seat formed on the spool for selectively controlling the communication and non-communication between the gas inlet and gas outlet openings. A piston is mounted in the bore and coupled to the valve body. The piston is reciprocatingly slidable between a first position and a second position. First and second chambers are situated on opposite axial sides of the piston. First, second and third fluid ports are formed in the spool. The first and second ports are in communication with the first and second chambers, respectively. At least one first channel is formed in the piston and interconnects the first and second chambers, and a second channel formed in the piston interconnects the third port and the first chamber when the piston is in the first position. In the first position, the gas inlet and outlet openings are not in communication, and the molten material is prevented from flowing through the degassing apparatus. The third port and the first chamber are not in communication when the piston is in the second position. In this position, the gas inlet communicates with the gas outlet to allow gas to escape from the mold cavity.
