    摘要: A carrier carrying device (CCD) for holding a workpiece carrier includes a lower portion and an upper portion coupled to the lower portion. A plurality of shoulder screws are employed to couple the upper and lower portions together; the shoulder screws restrict translational movement of the upper portion to one direction relative to the lower portion. The upper portion includes a flange having a plurality of slots configured to receive a like plurality of engagement members located on the workpiece carrier. A number of springs located between the upper and lower portions cause the flange to engage and secure the engagement members to the CCD. The shoulder screws facilitate alignment of the CCD relative to the workpiece carrier during installation of the CCD.

    摘要: A tire inflation assembly includes an air chuck that has a pair of outlets that has a direction of air flow which is oriented at a unique direction with respect to each other. In this way the air chuck can be attached to the valve stem at a variety of orientations to enhance employing the air chuck to inflate the tire. The air chuck includes a locking mechanism which engages the valve stem for retaining the air chuck on the valve stem. The locking mechanism is urgeable to disengage the valve stem to remove the air chuck from the valve stem. A pressure gauge is integrated into the air chuck to display the air pressure in the tire when either of the outlets is attached to the valve stem.

    摘要: The disclosure of the invention provides a clamping apparatus and methods for joining segments of pipeline. The clamping apparatus includes first and second clamp assembly portions, each having at least two pivotable arms that clamp on to ends of two pipeline segments, respectively. The apparatus includes bridging members positioned within the gap connecting first and second clamp assembly portions. The bridging member has a central portion between and radially distal to first and second portions. The arrangement of the central portion provides a continuous open area around the circumference at the pipeline junction so a weld can be made with high precision and efficiency.
