摘要: A method and device of identifying payload of a data packet in a TCP stream. The method includes the steps of: calculating a payload signature according to information in header of the data packet in the TCP stream; comparing the payload signature with a pre-stored file signature; determining the payload of the data packet in the TCP stream as belonging to a file corresponding to the pre-stored file signature, in response to a match between payload signatures of multiple data packets and the pre-stored file signature. The present invention can monitor and identify TCP streams by using a more efficient and lower cost solution.

摘要: This invention includes methods of forming trench isolation. In one implementation, isolation trenches are provided within a semiconductor substrate. A liquid is deposited and solidified within the isolation trenches to form a solidified dielectric within the isolation trenches. The dielectric comprises carbon and silicon, and can be considered as having an elevationally outer portion and an elevationally inner portion within the isolation trenches. At least one of carbon removal from and/or oxidation of the outer portion of the solidified dielectric occurs. After such, the dielectric outer portion is etched selective to and effective to expose the dielectric inner portion. After the etching, dielectric material is deposited over the dielectric inner portion to within the isolation trenches.

摘要: An apparatus and method for counting exercise repetitions are provided for counting exercise repetition even when an exerciser attaches the apparatus in different places and along different orientations of his or her body. The apparatus and method utilizes acceleration data along at least three axes and determines that a valid step is taken by the exerciser if at least one of acceleration profiles falls within at least one of pre-defined thresholds. Moreover, a method of identifying an optimal axis for exercise repetition measurement is disclosed by comparing the acceleration profiles of previous steps with amplitude, cycle and rhythm thresholds.

摘要: Association control is utilized for associating wireless local area network users with at least one wireless local area network access point and thereby achieving simultaneous fairness and load balancing. In the present method, a network operation center receives user parameters from each user in the wireless network via the access points. It then sets out both to determine a set of associations between each user and one or more access points based on the user parameters using fractional load balancing and produce a second set of associations by rounding so that, in said second set, each user is associated with only one access point. The present method achieves close to optimal load balancing and max-min fairness while outperforming commonly-used heuristic approaches.

摘要: The invention provides an apparatus and a method of processing a biological and/or chemical sample in a liquid droplet. The apparatus comprises a processing compartment, which is defined by a reservoir and an immobilisation member. The processing compartment is further adapted to accommodate a medium, which is immiscible with the liquid droplet, and of a lower surface energy than the liquid of the liquid droplet. The reservoir is defined by a circumferential wall and a base. The immobilisation member is arranged within the reservoir and comprises a surface that is patterned in such a way that it comprises at least one predefined immobilisation area. The predefined immobilisation area within the patterned surface is of a higher surface energy than the medium. Furthermore the at least one predefined area is of a higher surface energy than the remaining surface and of a sufficient width in the plane of the surface to allow, in said hydrophobic medium, the immobilisation of the liquid droplet on the hydrophilic area via hydrophilic-hydrophilic or hydrophobic-hydrophobic interactions. The remaining surface is of at most about the same surface energy as the medium. In the method of the invention the medium is disposed into the apparatus, such that the predefined immobilisation area is entirely covered by the medium. The liquid droplet is disposed onto the predefined immobilisation area, whereby the liquid droplet is immobilised thereon via hydrophilic-hydrophilic or hydrophobic-hydrophobic interactions. A process is performed on the biological and/or chemical sample in said liquid droplet.
