    Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, an additive manufacturing system is described. The additive manufacturing system includes a bed moveable in a vertical direction. The bed is to receive a build material that is to form a three-dimensional (3D) printed object. The additive manufacturing system also includes a build material depositor to deposit the build material on the bed and a build material spreader to traverse across the bed to spread the build material. The additive manufacturing system also includes a solidification system to selectively solidify a layer of build material. The additive manufacturing system also includes a controller. The controller is to lower the bed by a first amount in preparation for receiving build material and iteratively raise the bed in increments in between passes of the build material spreader across the bed, wherein an increment is a portion of the first amount.

    Abstract: Techniques for secure boot up of unified extensible firmware interface (UEFI) compliant devices are described. In an example, execution of a driver associated with a hardware component of a computing device may be detected during booting of the computing device. Based on the detection, a first driver hash of a system table of the UEFI may be computed, where the system table is a data structure that stores configuration details of the computing device and UEFI services. Thereafter, a second driver hash of the system table may be computed based on detection of completion of the execution of the driver. The first driver hash and the second driver hash may then be compared to determine tampering with the system table of the UEFI.

    Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed to a computing device for triggering an alert to a user about an occurrence of overcurrent at a first USB port of the computing device. In some examples, the computing device includes a USB interface circuit, a system processor and a host controller. Responsive to detecting the occurrence of overcurrent at the first USB port, the USB interface circuit transmits an alert signal to the system processor through a control bus without communicating directly with the host controller. The system processor determines the alert signal indicates the occurrence of overcurrent at the first USB port and sets an overcurrent register at the host controller to a first value to indicate the occurrence of overcurrent at the first USB port. The host controller triggers the alert to the user responsive to the overcurrent register being set to the first value.

The extended reality system includes an imaging system to present virtual objects to a user. The extended reality system also includes a machine vision tracking system. The machine vision tracking system includes a camera to capture images of a user's hand a tool grasped in the user's hand. The machine vision tracking system also includes a processor. The processor 1) tracks a position and orientation of the user's hand in physical space, 2) identifies the tool grasped in the user's hand, and 3) tracks a position and orientation of the tool in physical space. The extended reality system also includes an XR controller to manipulate the XR environment based on the position and orientation of the tool and the position and orientation of the hand.

    Abstract: In an example, a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions executable by a processor of a computing device to receive device usage data of an electronic device. Further, instructions may be executed by the processor to receive sensor data indicative of an internal state of the electronic device.
