    摘要: A refrigerated container having an air compressor for maintaining a controlled atmosphere includes provisions for cooling the ambient air being drawn in by the air compressor to thereby prevent corrosion in the air compressor. A condensing line heat exchanger is connected between an inlet port and the compressor and is so disposed that the evaporator fan passes air thereover to provide cooling to the ambient air passing therethrough such that condensation forms within the tube. A water separator is included in the system to remove condensate and allow the drier air to pass to the compressor. The water separator is so constructed as to allow for the free flow of air therethrough with very little restriction. A drain fitting in the water separator is so constructed as to prevent spattering that might otherwise occur.

    摘要: An improved method and apparatus to prevent clogging of condensate drain lines with a biocide delivery system that prevents the growth of bioorganic growth in the liquid trap using time release biocide tablets or liquid biocide. When using solid biocide tablets erosion and dissolution of the tables is reduced. When using liquid biocides, combination of initial release followed by gradual release of residual liquid biocide in the drain water is attainable. Drain line are promoted from clogging while being installed anywhere on the drain line upstream of the liquid trap. The apparatus can also be incorporated with a liquid trap, allowing placement anywhere in the drain line.

    摘要: An air conditioning system for an automobile prevents leakage of condensed water by locating two drain parts respectively on an air conditioning case and a protective cover having a drain structure beneath the air conditioning case. A drain hose, connected to and communicating with the drain parts, discharges the condensed water to the outside of the automobile without dispersion of the condensed water by forming a condensed water discharge pipe positioned on the protective cover. The protective cover, mounted on the bottom surface of the air conditioning case, surrounds the inflow and outflow pipes and has an auxiliary drain part formed at a side thereof. The drain hose connects the drain part of the air conditioning case with the auxiliary drain part of the protective cover.

    摘要: In a arrangement structure of a drain hose that drains water from an air conditioning case to an outside of a vehicle, the drain hose is disposed to extend along a silencer provided in the inside of the vehicle. The silencer is formed with a depression and the drain hose is arranged in the depression. Thus, loads such as by passenger's feet and baggage are received by the silencer, thereby reducing crush of the drain hose. The drain hose can be made of rubber and is flexibly shaped along its arrangement route. Accordingly, the drain hose does not need separate flexible joint members at positions corresponding to bends in the arrangement route. Since the drain hose is supported in the depression, fixing members for fixing the drain hose are not required.

    摘要: An air conditioning system for a motor vehicle includes an air conditioning box through which blower air can flow and in which an evaporator and, at a distance therefrom, a heat exchanger are arranged, and including an air distributor which has air outlet openings which may be controlled by air control elements, and a water outlet arranged between the evaporator and heat exchanger, and having a control arrangement for forcibly ejecting the blower air emerging at the evaporator via the water outlet into the vehicle environment. For the purpose of forcibly ejecting the loaded blower air in a cost-effective and construction-space-saving manner without losses in efficiency, the control arrangement may be formed in the air outlet openings by the air control elements which, during the ejection, are forcibly closed.

The evaporator is slightly tilted from a horizontal surface by a predetermined angle, and the blower is disposed in such a manner that air is mainly blown by the blower toward the evaporator in a direction substantially parallel to a tangential line at a scroll finish portion of the scroll casing. Accordingly, condensed water on a bottom heat-exchanging surface of the evaporator can be pushed downwardly by component force of the flow of air mainly blown from the blower.
