A device for restricting movement of a carriage that is used to convey vehicles and workers in an assembly line in a factory for assembling complete vehicles includes a hold-back device for the carriage which can prevent an accident caused by equipment failure and improves an operating rate by implementing a new conceptual hold-back system which allows a cam roller operated by a cylinder to come into close contact with a side surface of the carriage to rotate in a direction identical to a carriage movement direction, and provides a load to the carriage by using back pressure/discharged air from the cylinder so as to prevent an increase in gap between carriages.

Disclosed is a car parking assembly (100). In one aspect, the car parking assembly (100) comprises a rail mechanism (104) and a plurality of V-bars (106) mounted on the rail mechanism (104) to facilitate the parking of a car and horizontal movement of a parked car respectively. The rail mechanism (104) further comprises a first rail (202), a second rail (204) and a plurality of equally spaced connection. The V-bars (106) further comprises a first bar (502) for facilitating parking of a rear wheel of the car and a second bar (506) for facilitating parking of a front wheel of the car and wherein one end of the first bar (502) and one end of the second bar (506) are connected such that to form a obtuse angle.

A conveyance device has a carriage drive for driving and propelling a pair of left and right carriage units which individually support left and right sides of an object to be conveyed. A pair of left and right screw shafts is pivotally supported in a rotatable manner along the movement path of the carriage units. Driven rollers are pivotally supported in a rotatable manner by the carriage units and engage with the screw shafts. A transmission connects the pair of left and right screw shafts through the outside of a conveyance path such that the left and right screw shafts are linked and coupled; and a single motor drives the pair of left and right screw shafts through the transmission means.

A dip coating system in which objects to be treated are transported by means of at least one conveyor carriage to the dipping tanks which can be filled with a treatment liquid, are dipped therein, and then withdrawn and can be conveyed away from the dipping tanks. Said conveyor carriage can be guided along a rail and comprises a drive carriage, and a securing device to which at least one object can be secured and which can be rotated about a rotational axis. A connection device joins the drive carriage to the securing device. An end of the rotational axis can be mounted on the connection device such that the rotational axis can be displaced in the vertical direction freely overhanging together with the connection device. Said connection device comprises a drive device which can rotate the rotational axis. Said rotational axis and drive device are joined by a planetary gearing.

A method for hardening a coating of an object, more particularly a car body. A conveyor system moves the object to the proximity of a radiator and moves it away from said radiator with at least one transport cart that can be translationally moved on at least one running surface. A support frame for the object is fixed to the transport cart in order to rotate or pivot the object about a rotational or pivoting axis extending crosswise relative to the translational movement and independently thereof so that all areas of the surface can be exposed to approximately the same amount of radiation.

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for producing a float glass capable of controlling a temperature rise in the bottom casing to prevent the bottom casing from being corroded by reaction with the molten metal released therefrom.The bottom casing of a flat glass producing apparatus is comprised of a plurality of non-magnetic casing pieces that are electrically insulated from each other by means of a non-woven fabric of silica glass having non-affinity for tin whereby in comparison with a flat glass producing apparatus having the bottom casing of a united structure, an induced current can be controlled thereby prohibiting a temperature rise in the bottom casing. With such structure, tin penetrating in joint portions of the bottom bricks can be prevented from melting and the corrosion of the bottom casing by reaction with the released molten tin can be prevented.

The invention relates to a plant for the treatment, in particular the cataphoretic dip coating of objects, in particular of vehicle chassis (4), whereby the objects (4) are run by means of a transport car (5) through several treatment stations and on so doing are dipped in at last one treatment container (91) and retrieved therefrom again. The transport car (5) comprises a chassis (7, 8, 9 to 12), which travels along the trajectory of the objects (4), at least one pivot arm (50, 51), connected to the chassis (7, 8, 9 to 12), a mounting (61) joined to the pivot arm (50, 51), for at least one object (4) and independently operated drives (32, 33, 56, 57, 80, 81) for the translational displacement and the pivoting displacement of the at least one pivot arm (50, 51) and the mounting (61). The transport car (5) can be used not only for transport of the objects (4) for treatment but can also have a service basket (90) fixed thereto, suitable for the accommodation of at least one operative. The service basket (90) can be brought into any position which can be reached by the pivot arm (51), by means of the transport car, whereby the alignment of the service basket (90) in maintained permanently in the vertical by means of a special device (92). The operative in the service basket (90) can carry out maintenance and cleaning work on all reachable objects and surfaces in a convenient manner.

A system for transferring a vehicle body according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a stage accommodating the vehicle body and transferring the vehicle body, and a height regulating unit which is disposed on the stage and which regulates height of the vehicle body according to a type of assembly line. The height regulating unit includes a bracket disposed on a lower portion of the stage; at least one lifter, one end of which is disposed on the bracket and the other end of which is disposed on the vehicle body, so as to raise and lower the vehicle body; and a driving part for driving the lifter.
