    Abstract: A synthetic resin tube structure including a first synthetic-resin member which includes a flange having a plurality of bores formed therein, and a plurality of first divided pipes formed integrally with the flange; and a second synthetic-resin member which includes a plurality of second divided pipes, and a connector to connect the plurality of second divided pipes to each other. In the synthetic resin tube structure, the plurality of first and second divided pipes are subjected to vibration welding to form a plurality of pipes respectively having therein passages which communicate with the respective corresponding bores, and the vibration welding is performed while a direction, in which the plurality of first and second divided pipes are vibrated, is inclined at an angle θ with respect to a reference plane in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of each of the bores formed in the flange.

    Abstract: An outboard engine unit has an intake manifold extending in a front-and-rear direction along one side of an engine block and comprised of a surge tank and a plurality of intake tubes communicating with the surge tank.     Abstract: Upper and lower split components include upper and lower concave parts, respectively, forming the inner periphery of an intake pipe. An internal pipe is placed between the upper and lower concave parts. The upper concave part is formed a distance away from the outer periphery of the internal pipe. The outer periphery of the internal pipe is provided with a fitting part fitted into the lower concave part and a sealing part accommodated in an accommodation recess formed in the upper concave part. The inner face of the accommodation recess and the sealing part are formed along the direction of vibration of vibration welding and are in contact with each other.

    Abstract: An intake manifold including a collecting pipe and a plurality of branch pipes comprises a single gas intake port, a gas outlet port opening into each branch pipe, and a gas passage extending to be divided into more than one branch passages from the gas intake port to each gas outlet port. The gas passage is configured so that the branch passages are equal in pressure loss which will be generated between the gas inlet port and each gas outlet port, and the gas passage extends to be branched in stages from the gas inlet port to each gas outlet port, forming a tournament-form configuration which is symmetrical about the gas inlet port. The collecting pipe and each branch pipe are integrally molded of resin. The gas inlet port and the gas passage are provided in a projecting section integrally molded with the branch pipes.

    Abstract: In an air intake apparatus of an internal combustion engine, disassembling a surge tank made of resin with an intake air control valve into divided pieces, and bonding the divided pieces by vibration adhesion, for preventing the intake air control valve from breaking or characteristic thereof from changing during the vibration adhesion or for ensuring a sealing property between parts, an inner space in the surge tank is divided into first and second chambers by providing a horizontal partitioning wall within the surge tank. The surge tank is divided into a middle piece made of resin and formed integrally with the partitioning wall, a lower piece made of resin, and an upper piece also made of resin, and these three pieces are bonded by the vibration adhesion to form the surge tank. A communicating hole for making the first chamber communicate with the second chamber is formed in the partitioning wall, and a valve body for opening and closing the communication hole is provided in the communicating hole. A drive device for opening and closing the valve body is provided on the middle piece.
