A fully integrated portable personal computing device includes a lid body member and a main body member. An input system inputs data and commands and a microprocessor processes the data in accordance with the commands. A display system displays information. The display system is located in the lid body member. A projection system is integrally included in the portable personal computing device for projecting the information displayed on the display system to an area remote of the portable personal computing device. The projection system can also be a peripheral plug-in device for replacing a floppy disk drive peripheral for the portable personal computing device.

The invention relates to a container configured to electronically display images and simulate a photo album storage device, including a storage housing having a bottom and a plurality of upwardly extending sides to concurrently store a plurality of removable digital memory storage devices. A display cover is coupled to the storage housing and includes a visual display device configured for open and closed positions. The display cover encloses the storage housing when in a closed, storage mode and exposes the display device when in an open, viewing mode. An electronic processing device, coupled to the storage housing and the visual display device is configured to read and display at least one of many contained removable memory storage devices and to display digital image data contained on the storage device.

A handheld mobile image sensing and printing device includes a support structure. A color image sensor is positioned on the support structure for sensing a color image. A color printing mechanism is positioned on the support structure and is operatively connected to the image sensor to print the image sensed by the image sensor. A remote communications arrangement is positioned on the support structure and is operatively connected to the image sensor to transmit data representing the image and to receive data representing images to be printed by the printing mechanism.

Disclosed are improvements in digital copier machines and methods for controlling an output job to issue onto a removable digital storage media. A drive unit is provided and configured to removably receive a removable digital storage medium such as an optical disc. A picker mechanism is configured to deliver the removable digital storage medium to the drive unit from a supply of a plurality of removable digital storage media in response to a load drive unit signal. A selector is provided on the interface and operational logic is provided which is responsive to a user selection of the selector to issue the load drive unit signal and to convey the digital data between the control unit of the digital copier machine and the drive unit.
