The microwave oven includes a heating compartment, a magnetron for generating microwaves, a waveguide for directing the microwaves into the heating compartment and a chaotic signal generator for driving the magnetron. The characteristics of the chaotic signal are adjusted to tend to vary the output energy of the magnetron and increase the uniformity of the microwaves in the heating compartment.

    摘要: A microwave heating apparatus includes a microwave oscillator, a waveguide for transmitting microwave energy outputted from the microwave oscillator to an object to be heated, detectors for detecting the power of the microwave energy inputted from the microwave oscillator to the object to be heated and the reflected power of the microwave energy reflected from the object to be heated, a matching stub provided in the waveguide, and a driver for driving the matching stub. The driver calculates a VSWR value from the inputted power and the reflected power and includes a motor for driving the matching stub so that the VSWR value is maintained within a predetermined range. Matching of the waveguide impedance with the load impedance can be executed automatically and the VSWR value can be maintained in the range of good matching. Thus, lowering of heating efficiency can be prevented.

    摘要: A microwave oven comprises a high frequency generator which is formed by a magnetron 5, a high-voltage transformer 6 and a high-voltage capacitor 7, and a cooling device 8 for cooling these components. The heating power of the high frequency generator is reinforced as compared with the cooling power of the cooling device, and there is such a possibility that the magnetron and the like are subjected to abnormal temperature rise if the high frequency generator is continuously driven at the maximum high frequency output. Therefore, if the user sets a heating time for quick heating at the maximum high frequency output in excess of a prescribed maximum allowable heating time of five minutes, driving of the magnetron is inhibited. If quick heating is repetitively performed, the prescribed maximum allowable heating time is corrected in time relation with preceding heating.
