    摘要: A vest for a human body has an air core coupled to a pulsator operable to subject the vest to pulses of air which applies and releases high frequency pressure forces to the body. The pulsator has two diaphragms connected to a brushless electric dc motor with rotary to reciprocating linear motion transmitting mechanisms comprising scotch yokes having anti-lash assemblies operable to generate air pulses in an air pulsing chamber. The diaphragms also increase the pressure in a manifold chamber. A check valve connects the manifold chamber with a pulsing chamber to allow pressurized air to flow from the manifold chamber into the pulsing chamber. An air flow control valve in communication with the manifold chamber is used to adjust the pressure of the air in the manifold and pulsing chambers. A programmable motor controller adjusts the duration of operation and speed of the motor to vary the operational time and frequency of the air pulses.

A bearing 322a is mounted to a bottom surface of a supporting plate 310 for supporting an object. First rotation sleeve 322c is rotatably provided inside the bearing 322a. A second rotation sleeve 322d is provided inside the first rotation sleeve 322c. The second rotation sleeve 322d is rotated at a fixed position by means of a rotation driving shaft 321. An inner peripheral surface of the first rotation sleeve 322c is inclined at a certain angle in one direction with respect to the center line of rotation. An outer peripheral surface of the second rotation sleeve 322d is inclined at a certain angle in one direction in correspondence with the inner peripheral surface of the first rotation sleeve 322c. The first rotation sleeve 322 and the second rotation sleeve 322d simultaneously rotate in the circumferential direction, and can relatively move in the direction of the center of rotation. By this relative movement, an amount of eccentricity of the bearing 322a with respect to the rotation driving shaft 321 is adjusted to an arbitrary value including zero.

    摘要: A power cam drive assembly for generating and delivering two different degrees of force serially to a body, the second force being greater than the first force. A main drive gear is coupled to a driven cam gear which is coupled to an outer cam shell. A cam core is nested within the cam shell for rotation along an eccentric path therewithin. The cam core has an axial extension also coupled to the driven cam gear. A windable clock spring located between the cam core and cam shell has one end secured to the cam core and the other end locked to the cam shell. A cam roller is disposed within the cam core. The clock spring has a greater rotational torque than required to rotate the cam core. The driven cam gear rotates, causing the cam shell to rotate, through the clock spring interconnection, causing rotaton of the cam core with attendant rotation of the cam roller which impacts on a cam stop in its path preventing further rotation of roller and cam core, causing the first force to be transmitted via a lever arranged to transmit the first force to the body. Further rotation of the cam shell causes the cam roller to move in a downward direction, winding the clock spring, resulting in further rotation of the cam core producing the second downward force for transmission to the body via the lever.

    摘要: The use of boring heads, normally used to machine accurate sized holes, as adjustable throw eccentric shafts. Boring head shanks are removed and replaced with bearing supported shafts, or otherwise attached to a rotatable energy source. Bearings are mounted to the boring head slides either directly, or by means of an adapter, or bearing journal. By selecting a suitable boring head, the adjustment may be made when the machine is at rest, or when running, manually or automatically. By fitting stepper motors or servo motors to boring heads which are manually adjustable while running, the adjustment may be controlled by a numerical control or computer control. When modified accordingly, boring heads are suitable adjustable eccentrics or crank shafts, and can be incorporated into various machine designs, providing an economical, readily available, and very accurate machine member.

    摘要: An oscillator for a continuous casting mold includes a rotatable drive shaft having first and second portions which are eccentric with respect to one another. A sleeve for inducing oscillatory motion of the mold rotatably surrounds the second shaft portion and is eccentric with reference to the latter as well as the first shaft portion. The sleeve is coupled to the housing of a gear reducer having a gear assembly which is rotatable relative to the housing and is coupled to the drive shaft for rotation therewith. The housing is, in turn, connected with the casing of a motor having an output shaft which is rotatable relative to the casing and is coupled to the gear assembly. This motor constitutes an auxiliary motor which is operable independently of a primary motor for the drive shaft. During normal operation, the auxiliary motor is deactivated and the sleeve, gear reducer and auxiliary motor all rotate with the drive shaft as this induces reciprocation of the mold through the agency of the sleeve. If the magnitude of the oscillation stroke is to be changed, the auxiliary motor is activated. This causes the sleeve to rotate relative to the drive shaft so that the eccentricity of the sleeve with respect to the first portion of the drive shaft, which determines the magnitude of the oscillation stroke, changes. The auxiliary motor and the gear reducer are at least approximately coaxial with the first portion of the drive shaft thereby enabling the auxiliary motor to be small and the oscillator to be compact.
