    摘要: Apparatus and methods are provided for rotating the sucker rod strings of pumping equipment and adjusting the vertical position of the sucker rod string. The apparatuses can include a threaded tubular rod carrier or spindle and a polished rod can run through the rod carrier, The rod carrier can be held in place along the rod with a locking mechanism on the upper and lower ends of the rod carrier. A rotator can surround the rod carrier, and the rotator can include a wheel and a main thrust bearing, the wheel being in threaded connection with the threads of the rod carrier and supported by the main thrust bearing. The rotation of the wheel relative to the rod carrier can result in vertical movement of the rod and the vertical movement of the rod can be accomplished without disengaging the means for fixing the rod carrier to the rod.

A first end of the walking beam is connected to a sucker rod string. A carriage is movably mounted to the walking beam to move back-and-forth along a length of a tail end of the walking beam. A pitman arm has a first end pivotally connected to the carriage for rotation about a second axis and a second end pivotally connected to a crank arm. A counterweight is mounted to the crank arm and a hydraulic ram is connected to the carriage to move the carriage back-and-forth along the walking beam and establish reciprocation of the sucker rod string.

    摘要: A dual completion linear rod pumping apparatus for imparting reciprocating vertical motion to a pair of rods for respective sucker-rod pumps. The dual completion linear rod pumping apparatus includes first and second linear mechanical actuator systems disposed in a single housing. These linear mechanical actuator systems impart and control vertical motion of the pair of rods. Each linear mechanical actuator system includes a rack and pinion gearing arrangement. The rack is operatively connected in a gear-mesh relationship with the pinion. The pinion is operatively connected to a rotating output of a motor. Rotation of the motor in a first direction results in an upward motion of the rack and connected sucker rod pump. Rotation of the motor in a second direction opposite the first direction results in a downward motion of the rack and connected sucker rod pump. An electronic controller is operatively connected to the motor.

    摘要: A downhole pumping assembly has a tubing string with plural barrels which are arranged in-line with the tubing. The tubing string has a seating location adjacent to each barrel. A standing valve arrangement, which includes a standing valve and a seating device, is located with the standing valve adjacent to the lower end of one of the barrels. A plunger has a traveling valve that is located for reciprocation within the one barrel. The plunger has a clearance with each of the barrels so as to form a fluid seal. The plunger reciprocates inside the barrel so as to lift fluid to the surface. Over time, the barrel will exhibit wear. Instead of pulling the entire tubing string to replace the barrel, the standing valve and the plunger are relocated to one of the other barrels located in the tubing string and reciprocation is resumed to resume pumping.

    摘要: The invention pertains to oil production pumping equipment in particular to submersible downhole pumps with rod drives to simultaneously and separately lift reservoir fluids to the surface from two reservoirs of a single well. The downhole pump assembly comprises a drive, upper and lower oil-well sucker-rod pumps each connected with its own rod string. In addition to this the unit is equipped with the body, crossbar and joint hollow rod string the latter being attached to the upper part of the crossbar to the bottom of which the rod strings of the upper and lower oil-well sucker-rod pumps are fixed, moreover, the rod string of the upper oil-well sucker-rod pump being made hollow and interconnected with the hollow plunger of the upper oil-well sucker-rod pump and the channel in the crossbar with the joint hollow rod string, and the rod string of the lower oil-well sucker-rod pump is installed between the cylinder of the upper oil-well sucker-rod pump and the downhole pump assembly body, moreover, the upper oil-well sucker-rod pump being offset from the longitudinal downhole pump assembly body axis. Coaxiality of the lower oil-well sucker-rod pump is achieved through the use of the rod crossover shoe, S-shaped rod and non-central pipe sub. The lower plunger pump rod has a shaped cross-section. As a result a standard pumping unit and two oil-well sucker-rod pumps are used and both enhanced reliability of the downhole pump assembly and increased overhaul life of its operation are achieved.

The tool is connected between the pump and the sucker rod string and reduces stress transmitted therebetween.     摘要: A plunger assembly including a pony rod adapter, a plunger releasably attached to the pony rod adapter, and a pony rod being releasably attached to the pony rod adapter. The pony rod adapter has a first cylindrical body and a number of apertures penetrating the first cylindrical body for receiving a lever. A first helically threaded pin is affixed to the first cylindrical body and projects from one of its ends. A second helically threaded pin is affixed to the first cylindrical body and projects from the other of its ends. The plunger has a second cylindrical body for reciprocating within a pumping chamber. The second cylindrical body has a first outer end with a first helically threaded bore for threadably receiving the first helically threaded pin. The second cylindrical body also has a first inner end with a polygonal socket for receiving a plunger key. The pony rod has a third cylindrical body for reciprocating into, and out of, the power end of a pump. The third cylindrical body has a second inner end with a second helically threaded bore for threadably receiving the second helically threaded pin. The third cylindrical body also has a second outer end. A peripheral flange is affixed to, and extends outwardly from, the second outer end. The peripheral flange is provided with a number of holes through which an equal number of threaded fasteners are extended for connecting the pony rod to the power end of a pump.
