摘要: A self-cleaning film system includes a substrate and a film. The film includes a monolayer formed from a fluorinated material, and a first plurality of regions disposed within the monolayer and spaced apart from one another such that each of the regions abuts, is surrounded by, and is not covered by the fluorinated material. Each of the regions includes a photocatalytic material. The system also includes a wave guide disposed adjacent the substrate. The wave guide includes a first light source configured for emitting a first portion of electromagnetic radiation towards the film having an ultraviolet wavelength of from 10 nm to 400 nm, and a second light source configured for emitting a second portion of electromagnetic radiation towards the film having an infrared wavelength of from 700 nm to 1 mm. A method of forming a self-cleaning film system configured for reducing a visibility of a contaminant is disclosed.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a modified acrylic resin cured product, particularly, a modified acrylic resin film, having excellent lubricity and excellent transparency, and a laminate including the modified acrylic resin film. The modified acrylic resin cured product (C) according to the present invention is obtained by treating the surface of a cured product (X) including an acrylic resin by using a compound (A) containing, in each molecule, one or more anionic hydrophilic groups forming an ion pair with an onium ion of an amino silicone, and one or more groups selected from the group consisting of a group containing a polymerizable carbon-carbon double bond, an amino group, a mercapto group and a hydroxy group.

摘要: According to one or more embodiments described herein, a coated article may comprise a transparent substrate and an optical coating. The transparent substrate may have a major surface, and the optical coating may be disposed on the major surface of the transparent substrate and form an air-side surface. The optical coating may comprise one or more layers of deposited material and one or more light-altering features which may reduce oscillations in the reflectance spectrum of the coated article. The coated article may exhibit a maximum hardness of about 8 GPa or greater, have an average photopic transmittance of about 50% or greater, and exhibit an angular color shift of less than about 10 from a reference illumination angle in a range of 0-10 degrees to an incident illumination angle in a range of 30-60 degrees relative to the air-side surface.

A flat film of transparent liquid on a surface of a protective optic may be used to retain debris and effluent backscatter produced during a laser bond inspection process.

The circularly polarizing plate includes a substrate and a polarizing plate. The first conductive layer, the second conductive layer, and the substrate are positioned closer to the display panel than is the polarizing plate, and the first conductive layer is positioned closer to the cover layer than is the second conductive layer. The first and second conductive layers are arranged apart from each other in a stacking direction so as to form a capacitive touch sensor. One of the first and second conductive layers is formed on one surface of the substrate. The substrate has an optical film with a phase difference of λ/4. The polarizing plate has a polarizing film.
