    摘要: A method for automatically switching to a channel for transmission on a portable radio is provided. In operation, a first microphone is assigned to respond to communications received on a primary channel and a second microphone is assigned to respond to communications received on a non-primary channel. The portable radio receives independent audio communications simultaneously on the primary channel and the non-primary channel when operating in a multi-watch mode. The portable radio determines a signal gain corresponding to a voice command received at the first and second microphones. When the signal gain for the first microphone is larger than the signal gain for the second microphone, the portable radio switches to a first talk-back channel to respond to communications received on the primary channel. Otherwise, the portable radio switches to a second talk-back channel to respond to communications received on the at least one non-primary channel.

    摘要: Exemplary embodiments include an antenna for receiving electromagnetic radiation in a broadcast radiation band and a near-field radiation band to generate a Radio Frequency (RF) signal. A coupling element couples the RF signal to a first port and at least one additional port, which may be a second port and a third port. A wireless power receiver on the first port includes a rectifier for converting the RF signal to a DC signal when the antenna couples to radiation in the near-field radiation band in a coupling-mode region of the antenna. A near-field communication transceiver includes circuitry for communicating information on the antenna in the near-field radiation band when the coupling element couples the second port to the RF signal. A broadcast receiver on the third port includes circuitry for receiving and tuning the broadcast radiation band when the coupling element couples the third port to the RF signal.

    摘要: A method for automatically switching to a channel for transmission on a portable radio is provided. In operation, a first microphone is assigned to respond to communications received on a primary channel and a second microphone is assigned to respond to communications received on a non-primary channel. The switch comprises four transistors such as N-channel Metal Oxide Semiconductor transistors, such that at each state at most one transistor is in “on” state, and the others are in “off” state. Each transistor has its own control circuit, which provides zero or negative voltage to the drain of the transistor, positive voltage to the source of the transistor, and control alternating voltage to the gate of the transistor. The switch can be used on-chip for devices. Such devices may include a base station or a handset of a cordless phone.

The driving method of a communication terminal includes: forming a transmitting path and an absorption path by controlling a time division duplex (TDD) switch in a transmitting mode to isolate the transmitting path and the receiving path from an absorption path, the transmitting path transmitting a transmitting signal in a wireless scheme, and the absorption path diverged from the transmitting path through a circulator of the TDD switch to block a reflecting signal in the transmitting signal reversely transferred to the transmitting path; processing the transmitting signal through the transmitting path. Because a TDD switch has an isolation function, insertion loss in a transmitting path may be suppressed.
