摘要: A method of purifying biomass-based lipid material, as disclosed includes providing a feed of biomass-based lipid material; optionally drying the feed; removing oxygen from the feed under reduced pressure; heat treating the feed at 180 to 300° C. under reduced pressure to solidify at least part of phosphorous and/or metal containing impurities, simultaneously distilling off at least part of free fatty acids and low molecular weight nitrogen compounds, to obtain at least a fraction containing free fatty acids and low molecular weight nitrogen compounds, and heat treated biomass-based lipid material containing degraded phosphorous and/or metal containing impurities in solid form; and removing the solid degraded phosphorous and/or metal containing impurities from the second fraction.

摘要: The invention relates to methods and apparatuses for treating a condensate stream from a condenser that contains odorous compounds, such as various condensate streams produced in a rendering process. In one embodiment, the condensate stream is treated by adding an oxidizer to the liquid condensate stream to oxidize odor-causing compounds in the stream prior to being treated in a waste water pre-treatment system. In this manner, the odor resulting from these compounds can be reduced or eliminated.

摘要: The present invention relates to the field of methods for purifying fatty acid ethyl esters. According to the present invention, a method for obtaining a ω3 fatty acid ethyl ester, such as EPA and DHA, each as a high purity product at a high yield is provided. In the method according to the present invention, a raw material fat including EPA and DHA is treated with a lipolytic enzyme and ethyl-esterification is performed as needed; the treated substance is fractionated into a glyceride fraction and a free fatty acid fraction; a fraction comprising more EPA ester and a fraction comprising DHA ester are obtained from the respective fractions; the fraction comprising more EPA ester is purified to prepare a high-purity EPA ester; and the fraction comprising more DHA ester is purified to prepare a high-purity DHA ester.
