摘要: A chromatographic material of carbon microspheres is disclosed. The carbon microspheres may be surface-derivatized with an organic functional group, such as functional groups suitable for use in chromatographic process, such as C1 to C18 alkyl, including butyl (C4), octyl (C8), and octadecyl (C18), phenyl, amino, cyano, etc. The carbon microspheres may consist of nonporous carbon. The carbon microspheres may consist of porous carbon having a surface area in the range of 1 m2/g to 400 m2/g. A method of making carbon microspheres from a carbonizable polymeric material is disclosed. A method of bonding an organic functional group to a surface of the carbon microspheres is disclosed. HPLC columns may be prepared containing the chromatographic material of carbon microspheres. Such columns may be used to separate a compound of interest from a mixture of different compounds using a chromatographic process, such as HPLC.

摘要: Provided is a chiller and system that may be utilized in a supercritical fluid chromatography method, wherein a non-polar solvent may replace a portion or all of a polar solvent for the purpose of separating or extracting desired sample molecules from a combined sample/solvent stream. The system may reduce the amount of polar solvent necessary for chromatographic separation and/or extraction of desired samples. The system may incorporate a supercritical fluid chiller, a supercritical fluid pressure-equalizing vessel and a supercritical fluid cyclonic separator. The supercritical fluid chiller allows for efficient and consistent pumping of liquid-phase gases employing off-the-shelf HPLC pumps. The pressure equalizing vessel allows the use of off-the-shelf HPLC column cartridges. The system may further incorporate the use of one or more disposable cartridges containing silica gel or other suitable medium. The system may also utilize an open loop cooling circuit using fluids with a positive Joule-Thomson coefficient.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a preparation method of resveratrol nervonic acid ester, comprising the following steps of: step 1: weighing resveratrol, a nervonic acid and thiocarbonyldiimidazole according to a molar ratio of 1:1:0.8 to 1:7:11.2 in a reactor; step 2: adding a certain amount of solvent into the reactor to completely dissolve the reactants; and step 3: stirring for reaction at room temperature for 30 min to 180 min. The preparation method is safe, efficient and clean, and enables synthesis of the resveratrol nervonic acid ester with high conversion rate, high purity and high yield.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for in-situ synthesis of alkyl esters of fatty acids and their efficient extraction from oleaginous microbes. Particularly, the present invention provides a rapid method for downstream processing of oleaginous biomass for in-situ synthesis of alkyl esters of fatty acids and their efficient extraction. The method of the present invention results in increased transesterification efficiency (>95%) of FAAE production from wet biomass, while eliminating the necessity of biomass harvesting, drying and large requirement of chemical solvents.

摘要: A highly unsaturated fatty acid or a highly unsaturated fatty acid ethyl ester that has been produced using as a feedstock oil a fat or oil that contains highly unsaturated fatty acids as constituent fatty acids and which has been reduced in the contents of environmental pollutants, wherein among the dioxins contained, polychlorinated dibenzoparadioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) are contained in amounts of less than 0.05 pg-TEQ/g and coplanar PCBs (Co-PCBs) in amounts of less than 0.03 pg-TEQ/g. Also disclosed is a method for producing the highly unsaturated fatty acid or highly unsaturated fatty acid ethyl ester by the steps of removing free fatty acids and environmental pollutants by thin-film distillation from a feedstock oil, ethyl esterifying the resulting fat or oil, and refining the same by rectification and column chromatography.
