摘要: In a reproduction method, a first video stream has a first dynamic range where a maximum value of a luminance dynamic range is more than 100 nits, and a display apparatus displays video in a second dynamic range narrower than the first dynamic range. The method determines whether the first video stream is quantized based on a hybrid OETF. When it is determined that the first video stream is quantized based on the hybrid OETF, the first video stream is reproduced. When it is determined that the first video stream is not quantized based on the hybrid OETF, a luminance dynamic range of the first video stream is converted from the first dynamic range to the second dynamic range to obtain a second video stream, and the second video stream is reproduced.

A prerecorded video file to render on the display device is received. The prerecorded video file is superimposed over the video, such that the video is partially obscured by the prerecorded video file. The prerecorded video is played file while displaying the video, such that the prerecorded video file and a non-obscured portion of the video are rendered simultaneously.

摘要: A processor-based system for analyzing physiologic data and medical care is provided wherein the patient data is analyzed to construct images that are representative of a patient's condition. The processor provides a self-modulating analysis, which is responsive to the occurrence of additional data items to increase the information contained in the images. Identifications of modes of physiologic failure by the analysis of the generated images provides for earlier recognition and intervention and improved protocolization of testing and treatment.

摘要: Techniques are described for reducing the number of fetches performed when a background layer (e.g., letter or pillar box) to be displayed is of a constant fill color. One or more processors (e.g., a display processor) may be configured to detect that a background layer is of a constant fill color. If so, rather than fetching the background layer from memory, the one or more processors may be configured to generate the constant fill color for the background layer. In doing so, there may be a reduction in the number of memory fetches performed, as the constant fill background layer is not fetched or is only partially fetched. This may reduce memory fetch operations (as only the video layer is fetched) and therefore power savings (e.g., battery usage) at memory and bus interfaces, decreased use of the bandwidth at the bus and memory, and decreased processor usage.

摘要: A playback device includes: an attribute reader that reads out first attribute information, indicating whether a dynamic range of luminance of the video stream is a first dynamic range or a second dynamic range, from a management information file recorded in the recording medium in a manner correlated with the video stream; a decoder that generates decoded video information by reading the video stream out from the recording medium and decoding the video stream; and an outputter that, in a case where the first attribute information that has been read out indicates the second dynamic range, outputs the decoded video information, along with maximum luminance information indicating a maximum luminance of the video stream in accordance with the second dynamic range.

A processor generates emphasized audio data, in which sound is emphasized in at least one direction from a position of the sound collector toward at least one position corresponding to at least one designated location in the video image. In response to receiving designation outside the video-image display region, the processor displays a state display area or an adjustment operation area for the sound to be output from the speaker in a rectangular region which has a diagonal line extending from one of four corners of the rectangular display region to a center of the video-image display region and intersecting with a boundary line of the video-image display region.

摘要: In order to provide a recording and reproducing device that allows a user to select and manage arbitrary play lists, a unit of management for managing all registered play list information and an upper management hierarchical level are added. The unit of management is adapted to be handled on the same level with unified information that indicates a reproduction range of all AV data. User-defined unified information is adapted to be handled on the added management hierarchical level. The user-defined unified information is formed to allow arbitrary reproduction ranges contained on a lower hierarchical level to be registered.

摘要: Various arrangements for recording multiple television channels are presented. A plurality of sets of television channels may be identified. An interface may be output for presentation, the interface presenting indications of each of the plurality of sets of television channels and a plurality of input elements associated with the plurality of sets of television channels. User input may be received via one or more of the plurality of input elements indicative of one or more sets of television channels of the plurality of sets of television channels to be recorded. Dates and times at which the one or more sets of television channels are to be recorded may be determined. The one or more sets of television channels may be recorded at the determined dates and the determined times.
