摘要： A cassette for light-sensitive photographic material which is to be transferred between the cassette and a copying apparatus having one or more doors which can be opened and closed. The cassette has a housing provided with an open side which can be closed by a removable cover, and it also has a wall provided with a slot connectable to an opening of the copying apparatus. A pair of rollers is mounted inwardly adjacent the slot and at least one of these can move towards and away from the other roller between one position in which the rollers define a gap for passage of the photographic material and another position in which the rollers bear upon each other and form a seal against the entry of light from the slot into the cassette. An arrangement is provided which automatically moves the movable roller into the sealing position in response to placement of the cover on the open side and another arrangement automatically moves the movable roller to the gap-defining position in response to closing of the door or doors of the copying apparatus to which the cassette is connected.

摘要： A photographic processor wherein parallel webs consisting of photosensitive material and/or other material and having identical or different widths are transported lengthwise through one or more liquid baths each of which receives identical quantities of replenishment chemicals at a frequency which insures that the activity of the baths remains unchanged. The device which feeds replenishment chemicals is controlled by a circuit having two inputs one of which receives first signals at a frequency corresponding to the rate of transport of unit lengths of the webs through the bath or baths and the other of which receives cyclically second signals, one for each photosensitive web and each persisting for a period of time which is proportional to the width of the respective photosensitive web. The control circuit causes the feeding device to admit a predetermined quantity of replenishment chemicals in response to the generation of each first signal during the persistence of a second signal. First signals are generated on closing of a microswitch which is actuated by a loop former associated with one of the webs and moving up and down at a frequency which is proportional to the speed of the corresponding web. Second signals are generated by a photoelectric cell which is moved at a constant speed back and forth transversely of the paths of webs and whose transducer reacts only to light which is reflected by a photosensitive web.

摘要： A still camera has a housing adapted to hold a roll of film having a succession of frames. An openable shutter is provided on the housing alignable with the film and a takeup wheel in the housing is connectable to the roll of film and rotatable to wind the film up and displace the frames one-by-one past the shutter. A film-advance slide is displaceable on the housing between a pulled-out position projecting from the housing and a pushed-in position fitting snugly with the housing. A transmission and a one-way coupling are provided in the housing between the slide and the take-up wheel so that the take-up wheel is rotated to wind up the film only on displacement of the slide from the pushed-in position to the pulled-out position. Furthermore, a frame-sensing mechanism in the camera arrests displacement of the slide or a portion of the slide in the direction toward the pulled-out position when a fresh frame is properly aligned with the shutter.

摘要： An adapter effects delayed firing of an electronic flash unit in response to activation of a photographic camera of the type provided with a striking member which otherwise serves to effect firing of impact-fired flash bulbs. The adapter includes a housing configurated to be mounted on such a camera with a predetermined position relative to the striking member of such camera. Inside the housing an inertial body is mounted for swinging movement about a predetermined axis. A biasing arrangement urges the inertial body in a predetermined direction. A synchronizing switch device is activatable by the inertial body when the latter assumes a predetermined activating position, for effecting firing of an electronic flash unit. The inertial body is so located relative to the mounting portion of the housing as to be set into motion against the force of the biasing arrangement by the striking force of a striking member on a camera to which the adapter is connected. When so set in motion the inertial body describes a predetermined path of movement in which it reaches the activating position.

Diffuser discs differing from one another in their diffusion characteristics are introduced between the vesicular-image negative and the condenser.
