摘要: A method of manufacturing a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag assembly (10) includes: forming an elastomeric body (12) made of an elastomeric material; providing an RFID tag (14); forming a patch (16) made of an elastomeric material; locating the RFID tag on a surface of the elastomeric body; overlaying the patch onto the RFID tag to cover the RFID tag with the patch; and bonding the patch to the elastomeric body, wherein the RFID tag is embedded within elastomeric material encompassed by the elastomeric body and the patch that overlays the RFID tag. The patch may be formed by die cutting the patch from the same elastomeric material component that is used to form the elastomeric body. The patch alternatively is formed separately from the elastomeric body from a dedicated source of elastomeric material, or formed by overlapping and bonding two ends of the elastomeric body to overlay the RFID tag embedded between the two ends.

摘要: An analytical system and method for detecting volatile organic chemicals in water including a coated SAW detector that provides for improved reduction of moisture at the coating of the SAW detector. A stabilized SAW sensitivity and long lasting calibration is achieved. The analytical system further includes an improved sample vessel and sparger that allow for easy grab sample analysis, while also providing efficient purging of the volatile organic compounds from the water sample. In addition, an improved preconcentrator provides a stabilized sorbent bed.

摘要: A control system for a working machine that includes a power consumer (14) includes a prime mover (12), an energy storage unit (24) for storing energy, an auxiliary power unit (20) for generating power or consuming power, the auxiliary power unit (20) having a first connection (20a) coupled to the prime mover (12) and a second connection couplable to the energy storage unit (24). A controller (18) operatively coupled to the prime mover (12) and operatively couplable to the power consumer (14) is configured to estimate a required power of the power consumer (14), and to command the prime mover (14) to operate at an optimal operating point that produces the estimated required power. Based on a relationship between power output capability of the prime mover and power consumption of the power consumer, the controller (18) is configured to at least one of command that excess power capacity from the prime mover be provided to the auxiliary power unit for storage in the energy storage unit, or command that energy stored in the energy storage unit be provided to the auxiliary power unit to drive the power consumer.

The heat exchange panel has at least a portion made of a thermally conductive material. The one or more vortex generators are configured to direct airflow to particular areas on the aircraft, which may then prevent large scale airflow separation to synergistically enhance heat removal from the heat exchange panel and reduce drag of air flowing over the exterior surface.

Displacement amplifiers 36a, 36b amplify displacement of each swashplate 22, and torque amplifiers 34a, 34b amplify torque of electric motors 33a, 33b.
