摘要: A method and system for a device-based smart NAT selection. A method includes receiving a request from a user equipment (UE) for access to a mobile network. The method further identifies a configuration profile embedded in the request from the UE. In response to identifying, the mobile network identifies a plurality of connection preferences in the configuration profile. The method further enables the mobile network to select one of the plurality of the connection preferences for accessing the mobile network by the UE. The method further connects the UE to the mobile network according to the selected one of the connection preferences.

摘要: Methods and systems for a location-based serving call session control function (S-CSCF) selection in an IP multimedia subsystem (IMS) network is disclosed. According to an implementation, an interrogating CSCF (I-CSCF) of an IMS network receives a request to register a user equipment (UE) to use an IP multimedia service. The request may be a session initiation protocol (SIP) register. The I-CSCF determines that the UE is located in a first region based on the geographic information in the request. The I-CSCF may determine, based at least in part on the cell global identity (CGI) information in the SIP register, that the UE is previously registered through a different region. The I-CSCF may determine a serving CSCF (S-CSCF) located in the first region to provide the IP multimedia service to the UE. The I-CSCF further registers the UE on the S-CSCF.

摘要: Systems and methods for avoiding radio frequency (RF) interference are discussed herein. To protect incumbent stations of a communications network, a wireless carrier can direct signals transmitted by network sites away from the proximal incumbent sites or can prevent transmitting signals from the network sites in the direction(s) of the proximal incumbent sites. The disclosed systems and methods can prevent interference by not transmitting the network signal in a direction of a proximal incumbent site without any prior information about the incumbent stations relative to proximal network sites (e.g., location, height, or the like). The disclosed systems and methods can transmit test signals, receive confirmation signals, and analyze confirmation signals to determine the direction(s) in which to not transmit network signals.

Service type symbols might include, among others, a video symbol corresponding to a video streaming service, a voice symbol corresponding to a voice calling service, a basic data symbol corresponding to a basic data service.

For example, a carrier network may, based at least in part on a SIM swap request to replace a first SIM associated with a subscriber with a second SIM, store first information associated with the first SIM. Subsequent to the execution of a SIM swap to replace the first SIM with the second SIM, the carrier network may perform fraud detection on the SIM swap based at least in part on the first information associated with the first SIM stored based at least in part on the SIM swap request and based at least in part on second information associated with the second SIM and based at least in part on the SIM swap being detected as fraudulent by the fraud detection, cause the second SIM to be prohibited from operating with respect to the subscriber.

摘要: Systems, devices, and techniques described herein relate to interception of data traffic that is traversing a network at a relatively high throughput rate. In some examples, a request to initiate interception is received from a server. In response to receiving the request to initiate interception, an instruction to forward user plane data to the server can be transmitted to a User Plane Function (UPF). The UPF may be transferring the user plane data in a data flow. The instruction may cause the UPF to forward the user plane data to the server in multiple streams. In addition, control plane data associated with the data flow can be transmitted to the server.

The method includes receiving a user selection of an ICCID identifier type via the subscriber identifier selection field and a query input of an ICCID number associated with a subscriber.
