    Abstract: An optical fiber ribbon is configured by arranging in parallel and coupling a plurality of single-core optical fibers. The optical fibers adjacent to each other are intermittently bonded by coupling parts at predetermined intervals in the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber ribbon. The coupling parts adjacent to each other in the width direction are disposed to be displaced from each other in the longitudinal direction of the optical fiber ribbon. In the optical fiber ribbon, the adjacent optical fibers are intermittently coupled by the coupling parts in the longitudinal direction, and the amounts of resin of the coupling parts are not uniform in the longitudinal direction of the optical fibers. Moreover, the Young's modulus of resin constituting the coupling part is preferably 130 MPa or less, and more preferably 80 MPa or less.

    Abstract: A submount includes a light emitting device mounted thereon. The submount includes: a base including a first surface extending in a first direction and in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction; a first electrode extending in the first direction and in the second direction on the first surface, the first electrode including a first end in the second direction, and a second end in opposite direction of the second direction, the second end extending in the first direction; and a second electrode extending in the first direction and in the second direction on the first surface, the second electrode including a third end in the opposite direction of the second direction, the third end being separated from the first end in the second direction with a gap therebetween, and a fourth end in the second direction, the fourth end extending in the first direction. In the second electrode, a second width between the third end and the fourth end in the second direction differs according to a position in the first direction.

    Abstract: A rotary connector device includes a stator, a rotator, a first connector, and a second connector. The rotator is rotatable about a rotation axis with respect to the stator. The first connector is provided at the rotator. The second connector is provided at the stator. The first connector includes a first lead block which is attached to the rotator and a second lead block which is a member separated from the first lead block and is attached to the rotator. When viewed from an axial direction along the rotation axis, the first lead block is disposed so as to overlap at least partially the second lead block.
