    Abstract: A film-forming apparatus having a simple and downsized structure is provided. The film-forming apparatus includes at least one target having an opposing face that opposes a substrate, a plurality of target holders each detachably holding the target, a cooling unit that cools a plurality of the target holders, and at least one cooling panel. The at least one cooling panel includes a held part held by the target holder, and a heat receiving part having a heat receiving face that opposes the substrate with the held part held by the target holder and receives radiation heat emitted from the substrate. The held part transfers heat from the heat receiving face to the target holder. Each target holder selectively holds the target or the cooling panel.

    Abstract: Provided is an electric winch apparatus capable of preventing irregular winding of a wire rope caused by landing of a hoisted-down suspended load. The electric winch apparatus includes a winch drum (5) around which a wire rope (2) is wound, an electric motor (8) which rotates the winch drum (5), an operation lever (13a), a measurement unit (18) which measures a tension index value corresponding to a tension in the wire rope (2), and a controller (12) which controls motion of the electric motor (8). The controller (12) stops motion of the electric motor (8) when an operation in a lowering operation direction is applied the operation lever (13a) and a tension average value as an average value of a tension in the wire rope (2) becomes less than or equal to a predetermined tension reference value, the average value of the tension corresponding to an average value of the tension index value in a predetermined period.

    Abstract: This application discloses a reciprocating compressor including: a piston rod extending along a predetermined central axis that crosses an opening formed in an end of a cylinder, the piston rod being coupled to a piston and a crank mechanism to convey driving force from the crank mechanism to the piston; a rear head penetrated by the piston rod, the rear head closing the opening of the cylinder; and a rod ring portion configured to prevent a gas in the cylinder from leaking out from a gap between the rear head and the piston rod. The piston rod includes an outer circumferential surface on which an annular groove portion surrounding the central axis of the piston rod is formed. The rod ring portion includes an inner circumferential portion inserted into the groove portion, and an outer circumferential portion in sliding contact with an inner circumferential surface of the rear head.

    Abstract: A labyrinth seal is included in a rotary machine. The rotary machine includes a first member, a second member facing the first member, and a gap formed between the first member and the second member.     Abstract: A reduced iron production method includes: a reduction-step of producing reduced iron by heating an agglomerate containing iron oxide and carbonaceous reducing agent to reduce the iron oxide and solidifying a product produced by melting the reduced iron; a first-magnetic-separation-step of separating, among granular metallic iron, first slag, and second slag containing more fine-granular metallic iron than the first slag that are contained in the product, at least the granular metallic iron from the first slag by use of a first magnetic separator to separate first slag containing substance and a granular metallic iron containing substance from each other; a second-magnetic-separation-step of separating the second slag from the first slag containing substance or the granular metallic iron containing substance by use of a second magnetic separator having attraction force different from attraction force of the first magnetic separator; and a crushing-step of crushing the second slag.
