摘要: Novel phenolic molding compositions comprise (1) a resole phenolic resin, (2) an alkaline earth metal hydroxide or oxide, and/or a silane compound, and (3) a mixture of clay and talc fillers and/or microballoons. The composition also generally contains a mold release agent, and a silane coupling agent. The alkaline earth metal hydroxide or oxide is preferably calcium and/or magnesium hydroxide or oxide. A mixture of the calcium and magnesium compounds is most preferred. The foregoing molding compositions are applied to glass fibers or filaments to provide compositions useful in sheet molding compound processes, pultrusion processes, filament winding, and continuous laminating processes, as well as in ram injection molding and transfer molding.

摘要: The invention disclosed herein relates to an endless belt molding apparatus for the continuous molding of high pressure plastic foam products. The invention disclosed requires first and second adjustably spaced a part rotating endless belts between which the foamed product is molded. The space between the belts is vertically movable by means of fluid operated lifting/clamping means. The lifting/clamping means in cooperation with gauge blocks provide precise control of the space between the belts. Synchronized rotation of the belts is provided for any vertical positioning of the belts by a vertically extendable drive means rigidly coupled and mounted to said belts. A control circuit for the operation of the lifting/clamping means includes analogue sensing means positioned at selected locations between the first and second belts which provide signals representative of the pressures exerted by the foamed product during molding. The signals from the analogue sensing means are inputted to a control circuit for the fluid operated lifting/clamping means to adjust the spacing between on the speed of said belts in response to local variations in molding pressure.

摘要: A vertebral disc including a superior surface layer, an inferior surface layer, a midsection between the superior and inferior surface layers and a hollow center. The superior surface layer and inferior surface layer each comprise a layer of lattice with pore sizes in the range of 200-900 μm and a porosity of each layer of 55-75%. The midsection of the implant comprises a random or pseudorandom lattice interposed between the superior surface layer and inferior surface layer with larger, macro-pores of various sizes. There is a gradient of pore sizes along a longitudinal axis with the smallest pore sizes comprising the superior and inferior surfaces and the largest pore sizes comprising the midsection.

摘要: A method of absolute nuclear material assay of an unknown source comprising counting neutrons from the unknown source and providing an absolute nuclear material assay utilizing a model to optimally compare to the measured count distributions. In one embodiment, the step of providing an absolute nuclear material assay comprises utilizing a random sampling of analytically computed fission chain distributions to generate a continuous time-evolving sequence of event-counts by spreading the fission chain distribution in time.

摘要: Responsive to receiving a write request for a cache line from an input/output device, a caching agent of a first processor determines that the cache line is managed by a home agent of a second processor. The caching agent sends an ownership request for the cache line to the second processor. A home agent of the second processor receives the ownership request, generates an entry in a directory cache for the cache line, the entry identifying the remote caching agent as having ownership of the cache line, and grants ownership of the cache line to the remote caching agent. Responsive to receiving the grant of ownership for the cache line from the home agent an input/output controller of the first processor adds an entry for the cache line to an input/output write cache, the entry comprising a first indicator that the cache line is managed by the home agent of the second processor.
