    Abstract: A method and system for describing, extracting and migrating application information from a first personal computer to one or more other computers. This method and system provides a means for selecting and translating the information useful in transferring application programs, settings and files while maintaining the preferred preferences and directories of the users. Using a standard INI file format, this method makes use of Application Information Files (AIFs) containing tags. The tags provide identification of multiple versions of the application and conversion information for settings, registry information and files.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, computer-implemented methods, and tangible computer-readable media for enriching spoken language translation with dialog acts. The method includes receiving a source speech signal, tagging dialog acts associated with the received source speech signal using a classification model, dialog acts being domain independent descriptions of an intended action a speaker carries out by uttering the source speech signal, producing an enriched hypothesis of the source speech signal incorporating the dialog act tags, and outputting a natural language response of the enriched hypothesis in a target language. Tags can be grouped into sets such as statement, acknowledgement, abandoned, agreement, question, appreciation, and other. The step of producing an enriched translation of the source speech signal uses a dialog act specific translation model containing a phrase translation table.

    Abstract: The configurable logic device provides enhanced flexibility, scalability and area efficient implementation of arithmetic operation on (N−1) bit variables. The device includes a first configurable logic subsystem capable of generating logic OR output in response to functions of N−1 input variables in arithmetic mode, a second configurable logic subsystem capable of generating logic AND output in response to functions of N−1 input variables in arithmetic mode, and a configurable logic block connected at its first input to the output of the first configurable logic subsystem, connected at its second input to the output of the second configurable logic subsystem, connected at its third input to the Nth input variable, and connected at its fourth input to a carry/borrow signal. The configurable logic block provides a first output corresponding to carry/borrow value in arithmetic mode, a second output corresponding to logical functions of the N input variables in the logical mode and a third output corresponding to sum/difference value in arithmetic mode.
