Abstract:
A method for the preparation of allylsilanes. The method comprises contacting magnesium metal with a mixture comprising diethylene glycol dibutyl ether, allyl halide, and a halosilane at a temperature within a range of about 5.degree. C. to 20.degree. C. The method provides a high yield of allylsilane product that is easily recoverable and also provides for high ratios of allylsilane to hexadiene by-product.
Abstract:
Provided herein are systems and methods for collaboratively assessing adherence to pharmaceutical regulations and performing inspections of a pharmaceutical facility, operable on a system including a computing device having a database server, a processor, a display, and a camera, wherein the systems and methods include performing data pulls by pulling information from a plurality of sources, pulling regulatory guidelines from a plurality of official regulatory bodies, and checking for updates to the information and the regulatory guidelines at predetermined intervals; such that the data received from the data pulls is used to assess the adherence to pharmaceutical regulations, perform the inspections, and answer input queries from a user related to the information and the regulatory guidelines.
Abstract:
Gaming systems, devices, and methods are described for enabling wager gaming with a gaming operator using a game cartridge, such as a USB key, and game storage medium, such as a DVD. The cartridge and disc are inserted into a video game console and a connection with the gaming operator is made via the Internet. Once a connection is made and the identity of the game cartridge user has been verified and authenticated, the user can begin wager game play. Game play data are transmitted between the console and the gaming operator in an encrypted format. An encryption key is transmitted to the gaming operator via a digital certificate stored on the cartridge which has the corresponding private key. The game cartridge is capable of capturing a biometric sample of the user which is compared to a sample provided when the cartridge was issued to the user.
Abstract:
Gaming machines and systems are configured to distribute of viral events, such as viral gaming events, amongst devices. The devices can present the viral events. The devices can, for example, be gaming machines and/or mobile devices. According to one embodiment, once a viral event is triggered, it is presented at one or more first devices at a first time. The viral event spreads to other devices, such as one or more second devices where it can be presented at a later time. The viral event may continue to spread to numerous other devices. Feedback or metrics may be used to control the devices to which the viral event spreads and/or the rate of spread.
Abstract:
A gaming method includes receiving a wager from a player in terms of one or more credits, displaying an image representative of a game, and determining an outcome associated with the game. The method further includes determining if an event has occurred, calculating a purchase cost for each payout in a plurality of payouts when the event occurs, displaying an image representing the plurality of payouts, the image including the payout cost for each payout in the plurality of payouts, receiving a selection from the player of one of the plurality of payouts, receiving from the player the purchase cost of the one of the plurality of payouts selected by the player, and transmitting a request to provide the one of the plurality of payouts to the player.
Abstract:
A disclosed a player tracking unit provides a multimedia interface with a display and an interface to one or more sound projection devices and a multimedia board for processing digitally formatted program files for output on the multimedia interface. The player tracking unit may provide menus of audio and video programs, such as a menu for a musical jukebox or a menu for a video-on-demand service. Using a “TV-like” interface, a user may be able to select a program to output on the multimedia interface and control playback features of the program.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for creating, producing, and submitting new wager game packages for approval from regulatory bodies. A game development system includes a creative environment, a production environment, and a submission environment. In the creative environment, new wager game code is developed using pre-approved game components and other components provided by the game provider/publisher. In the production environment, the game code is tested and converted to operate in multiple platforms, to meet the requirements of various jurisdictions, and the like. In the submission environment, the game code and various submission documents are bundled into a game package for submission to a regulatory body.
Abstract:
An agent delivery catheter and method configured to deliver an agent to an inner surface of a patient's body lumen wall by forming a funnel shaped agent containment chamber around at least one portion of the inner surface of the body lumen wall, while minimizing ischemic conditions during the procedure.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods, apparatus, and systems, including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for providing a game of chance. A local gaming machine is in communication with a remote gaming machine over a data network. A player input is received at an input terminal of the local gaming machine. The player input requests a game application. The requested game application is located at the remote gamine machine. It is determined whether interface requirements of the requested game application are compatible with an interface of the local gaming machine. It is also determined whether the requested game application is available for execution on the remote gaming machine. In some embodiments, determining availability of the requested game application includes determining compliance with interface requirements, licensing requirements and/or jurisdictional requirements. When the requirements are compatible and the requested game application is available for execution, an instance of the requested game application is reserved on the remote gaming machine. When the instance is executed on the remote gaming machine, output data is sent to the local gaming machine over the data network. One or more game parameters can be captured from the received output data.
Abstract:
A catheter for delivering an agent to an injection site in a wall of a patient's body lumen, with an elongated shaft having a needle-through lumen slidably containing a needle therein, and an expandable member on the distal shaft section which has a collapsed configuration and a radially expanded configuration. In the radially expanded configuration, the expandable member supports the shaft in a position spaced away from the body lumen wall, and the needle slidably exits the needle-through lumen in the extended configuration through the port spaced away from the body lumen wall as a portion of the expandable member maintains the position of the port section of the shaft in the body lumen. The expandable member typically has an open-walled, helical, or lobed configuration providing a perfusion path along the expandable member.
