An image forming apparatus has a plurality of image bearing bodies in a predetermined sequence, an intermediate transfer medium for running in contact with each of the plurality of image bearing bodies, and a plurality of supporting rollers for driving the intermediate transfer medium. At least two image bearing bodies are oriented such that radius deviations of the respective image bearing bodies are in substantial registration along the intermediate transfer medium.

Provided is a vertical semiconductor light-emitting device and a method of manufacturing the same. The method may include sequentially forming a lower clad layer, an active layer, and an upper clad layer on a substrate to form a semiconductor layer and forming first electrode layers on the upper clad layer. A metal support layer may be formed on each of the first electrode layers and a trench may be formed between the first electrode layers. The substrate may be removed and a second electrode layer may be formed on the lower clad layer.

The monolithically integrated type tunable external cavity laser diode light source includes a gain medium for generating a gain of an optical signal, a collimating lens for correcting an divergent light beam to a parallel light beam, a passive waveguide through which the parallel light beam travels, an optical deflector to change a traveling direction of the parallel light beam changing a refractive index of medium on a traveling path of the parallel light beam traveling through the slab waveguide in response to an external electric signal and a diffraction grating to diffract the parallel light beam passing through the optical deflector, wherein these are integrate into one substrate made of an InP-based semiconductor as well as a material such as a GaAs-based semiconductor, a Si-based semiconductor, LiNbO3-based semiconductor or the like.

Disclosed is a fixing device for laces used in footwear, clothes, bags, and so on, and that can be configured in an extremely simple manner while maintaining the lace at a tightly fixed state when in use, without having any slip, thereby ensuring convenience of use. The present invention provides a fixing device for a lace that includes fixing plates that are extended from both sides of a curved plate thereof, so as to be applied to clothes, bags, etc., and means that is formed on elastic fixing projection pieces and a protruded part corresponding to the elastic fixing projection pieces, for preventing the lace from being moved to or deviated from one side of the elastic fixing projection pieces.
