摘要： A roadway system for energy generation and distribution is presented. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the roadway system comprises a plurality of ground-based wind energy generating devices, one or more roads, and a roadway system electricity grid. The roadway system may additionally include, for example, a plurality of ground-based solar energy generating devices, one or more vehicle-based solar energy generating devices and one or more vehicle-based wind energy generating devices. The energy generating devices are connected to the roadway system electricity grid and substantially all of the ground-based wind energy generating devices are positioned on part of one of the roads or near to one or more of the roads to thereby allow energy generation from wind created from passing vehicles in addition to energy generation from atmospheric wind.

摘要： As media on the Internet grows, existing systems do not leverage the value of using online digital data media, such as a movie clip or song, for creating media presentations. In contrast, a system of the present invention compiles a media presentation for transferring data between one or more computers by requesting one or more digital data media, such as a video clip. After requesting the one or more digital data media, the system, if applicable, obtains authorization, such as a license, to use the one or more digital data media. Further, the system allows a user to edit the requested digital data media and any existing digital data media. After editing the digital data media, the system compiles the media to make a media presentation. In this way, the present invention leverages the use of digital data media to create a media presentation by employing the data or instructions before or after transferring.

The user interface searches for media across different platforms including the users stored media and all other media available both online and offline. The interface uses a series of icons to display search results. The method includes (i) receiving a query having at least one search term from a user, (ii) performing a search in a network of databases being executed by the user utilizing the at least one search term, (iii) assigning each search result among the search results to at least one icon, and (iv) displaying the at least one icon with the respective search result.

摘要： The present invention relates to the creation of a data processing and transferring in a multi computer environment for reporting, monitoring, and predicting the supply, demand, and generation of alternative energy on a global scale. The system is configured to collect past and present alternative energy generation and distribution data from a variety of distributed sources. Example of such distributed data producing sources may include any of various power installations and systems, power sources, and billing systems. The data collected from these sources is stored and contemplated in a central database unit. Based on the data contemplated in the central database unit, the system, further, makes predictions of present and future generations, supply, and demand of alternative energy at local, regional, national, and global scales. Using these predictions, the system recommends changes in the existing energy generation resources, and/or proposes deployment of new energy generation resources.

摘要： Creating a large fleet of vehicles to gather wind energy and generate wind generated energy, such as electricity, is impeded by the cost to an individual vehicle owner. Accordingly, a portable system and corresponding method to gather wind energy and deposit stored wind generated energy for system credit is provided. The present invention includes a wind energy gathering device, an energy storage system, means for depositing stored wind generated energy for system credit, and a configuration of any one or combination of the aforementioned, the configuration adapted to at least be movable from a first vehicle to a second vehicle. As such, there is an incentive for individual vehicle owners to participate in gathering wind energy and depositing wind generated energy. By taking advantage of potentially millions of participants and participating vehicles, the present invention creates a format for generating energy from multiple forms of wind energy on a wide-scale.

Unfortunately, the existing conventional models have certain limitations in use, distribution, and deployment. The present invention relates to the creation of multi-parameter search tools that allow for searched materials to be quantified by numerous logical searching parameters. An example embodiment (i) provides a plurality of parameters, each of the plurality of parameters having a respective range of terms; (ii) displays the plurality of parameters; (iii) displays the respective ranges of terms; (iv) solicits from the user at least one search selection from the displayed ranges of terms; (v) performs a search from the at least one search selection; and (vi) returns a search result to the user.

The system and method create a series of improvements in electronic devices that enable a person to have a greater possibility to hear their name being called, important signals or emergency vehicles while using their electronic devices are in use by the instant user. An example embodiment (i) provides at least one sensor connected to a portable device, each sensor detecting surrounding sounds; (ii) recognizing a specific sound among the surrounding sounds by the at least one sensor by matching the specific sound to one of a plurality of reference sounds; and (iii) altering settings of the portable device from a first setting to a second setting, in a first event the specific sound matches with one of the plurality of reference sounds.
