    摘要: A liquid discharge head includes a substrate having a discharge port, a plurality of energy generating elements disposed on a first surface of the substrate for generating energy to discharge liquid from the discharge port, a liquid supply port, and a member provided on the first surface and forming a wall of a liquid chamber and a wall of a liquid path from the liquid supply port through the liquid chamber to the discharge port. A plurality of first penetrating electrodes penetrate the substrate from the first surface to the second surface, wherein one of the first penetrating electrodes electrically connects one of the energy generating elements, and a plurality of second penetrating electrodes penetrate the substrate from the first surface to the second surface, wherein one of the second penetrating electrodes electrically connects to the same energy generating element connected to the first penetrating electrode. Also, first and second power wirings are provided, and a plurality of driving elements are electrically connected between the first penetrating electrode and the first power wiring, correspondingly to each of the energy generating elements, to drive and control the energy generating elements.

    摘要: A substrate for a liquid jet recording head is provided at least with a supporting member, an exothermic resistive element arranged on the supporting member for generating thermal energy to be utilized for discharging recording liquid, and pairs of wiring electrodes connected to the exothermic resistive element at given intervals. Such a substrate comprises a layer formed with a film produced by the application of a bias ECR plasma CVD method. With the layer thus formed, a desirable configuration of the wiring stepping portions as well as a desirable film quality can be obtained so as to make the surface of the substrate smooth thereby to implement a liquid jet recording head having an excellent durability at a low manufacturing cost when such a substrate is used for the fabrication of the liquid jet recording head.

The apparatus has a carriage that moves along a main-scanning direction, on which a liquid-ejecting head for ejecting the liquid is removably mounted as a removable head or is fixed as a stationary head, a transporting device for transporting the printing medium, a control device for controlling movements of the liquid-ejecting head, the carriage, and the transporting device. The liquid-ejecting head has an ejection element portion that includes an energy-generating device for ejecting a liquid, a plurality of ejection orifices positioned in a direction perpendicular to the energy-generating device, and a wiring device for sending an electrical signal to the energy-generating device, an exterior wiring portion for applying the electric signal to the wiring device of the ejection element portion, an electrically connected portion where the wiring device and the exterior wiring portion are electrically connected together, and a sealing resin portion that seals the electrically connected portion.
