    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for MU-RTS and CTS are disclosed. An apparatus of a high-efficiency wireless local-area network (HEW) master station is disclosed. The HEW master station including processing circuitry configured to generate a packet to indicate a multi-user request-to-send (MU-RTS) and to indicate channels on which one or more HEW stations are to transmit a clear-to-send (CTS). The HEW master station further including a transceiver configured to transmit the packet to the one or more HEW stations, and receive clear-to-send responses to the packet on the one or more channels. An apparatus of a HEW station is also disclosed. The HEW station including circuitry configured to receive a packet that indicates a MU-RTS that indicates channels on which the HEW station is to transmit a CTS, and to determine whether to send the CTS.

    Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to using enhanced high efficiency (HE) frames. A device may determine a high efficiency signal-B (HE-SIG-B) field for a high efficiency (HE) frame, the HE-SIG-B field comprising a common information field and a user information field. The device may determine a data portion of the HE frame, wherein the data portion includes one or more resource units (RUs) with a size equal to a number of tones. The device may determine a first resource allocation subfield and a second resource allocation subfield of the common information field based at least in part on the number of tones. The device may cause to send the HE frame.

In some embodiments, Class B feedback using a Class B codebook by be utilized.

    Abstract: Methods, computer readable media, and wireless apparatuses are disclosed for a TXOP duration field. An apparatus is disclosed comprising processing circuitry configured to: encode a first high efficiency (HE) physical-layer convergence procedure (PLCP) protocol data unit (PPDU) comprising a transmission opportunity (TXOP) duration field in a first physical-layer portion of the first HE PPDU. The processing circuitry may be further configured to set the TXOP duration field value to indicate a largest duration value representable by the TXOP duration field that is equal to or less than a duration value indicated by the first MAC duration field, if the first HE PPDU is to include a first media access control (MAC) duration field in a first MAC-layer portion of the first HE PPDU.

    Abstract: Methods, computer readable media, and wireless apparatuses are disclosed for virtual carrier sensing with two network allocation vectors (NAV). An apparatus of a wireless device is disclosed. The apparatus comprising processing circuitry configured to: determine a duration of a frame, determine whether the frame is an intra basic service set (Intra-BSS) frame, an inter-BSS frame, or an unclassified frame. The processing circuitry may be further configured to set an intra-BSS network allocation vector (NAV) to the duration of the frame, if the frame is determined to be the intra-BSS frame, and if a receiver address is decoded from the frame and the receiver address is not an address of the wireless device. The processing circuitry may be further configured to set a regular NAV to the duration of the frame, if the frame is determined to be the inter BSS frame or the unclassified frame.
