    Abstract: A method and system for managing and applying entitlements is described herein. An identity integration server centrally manages data associated with entitlements for a plurality of identities. The integration server may select one of a plurality of workflows. One or more of a plurality of entitlements to be used in the workflow are selected, and a set of identities for which the workflow is applicable is selected. A determination is made as to whether the workflow should be run on the identities. If so, then the workflow is initiated. The one or more entitlements are then added to a granted entitlements list. Then, a separate process may be initiated to apply the one or more entitlements to the one or more identities.

    Abstract: A method of establishing at least one variable of a new view of data, is disclosed where the variable is obtained from at least one data source (150-153). The method identifies at least one display type (1202, FIG. 15, 17 18), each display type having at least one corresponding template of data to be used by the new view of data.     Abstract: A method, system and device for providing secure access to multimedia content received by a networked digital storage device, such as a set-top box. A mobile device, such as a mobile telephone, obtains appropriate security binding information and application software when coupled to the networked digital storage device at its end user location. The mobile device uploads the security binding information to a randomly located temporary hosting device at its place-shifted location when coupled thereto and, through a logical binding with the temporary hosting device, enables a secure, remote session. The secure binding and transfer of appropriate keys allow the remote hosting device to securely access premium or protected digital material/services available at the networked digital storage device. After completion of the secure, remote access session, termination occurs and the security binding information and the computing activity residue can be removed from the mobile device and the temporary hosting device.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and network for controlling congestion in a packet-switched network, comprising traffic sources, traffic destinations and network nodes, wherein a packet queue length in a network node is determined and a congestion notification is transmitted back towards the source address of an incoming data packet received at the network node, if the detected packet queue length exceeds a predetermined threshold. Then, congestion control is performed at a predetermined intermediate network node in response to the receipt of the congestion notification. Thereby, burts of source traffic can be constrained and unnecessary packet losses can be avoided already at an intermediate access node and within the network. The congestion notification message generated due to an incipient congestion is immediately routed back according to its source address. As a result, control delay time is shortened, such that buffer size requirements and number of congestion notification messages are reduced.
