摘要: The present invention relates to an elevator group control method of controlling a plurality of elevator cars servicing for a plurality of floors, including the steps of applying fuzzy rule groups to a hall call when such a call occurs, and selecting an optimum elevator car with a fuzzy inference applied, and assigning a call to the car. A plurality of fuzzy rule groups are successively applied according to respective priority orders previously given to the fuzzy rule groups. In such successive application, only when there is at least one car, excluding the car whose assignment aptitude is optimum, which has the difference in the assignment aptitude value for the current rule group, from that of an optimum car, of not greater than a predetermined threshold value, a subsequent rule group is applied.

摘要: A perpendicular magnetic write head capable of suppressing damage and corrosion of a magnetic pole to secure a stable writing performance is provided. A non-magnetic protruding layer protruding from a main magnetic pole layer (tip portion) toward an air bearing surface side is formed on both sides of the tip portion in a writing track width direction. The non-magnetic protruding layer is located closer to a recording medium than the tip portion during writing operation, and is more likely to be in contact with the writing medium instead of the tip portion. Since the protective film portion covering the tip portion hardly peels off (e.g., compared to the protective film portion covering the non-magnetic protruding layer), the tip portion is hardly damaged or corroded. Since the tip portion is protected physically and chemically by the non-magnetic protruding layer, deterioration of the soft magnetic characteristics of the tip portion is suppressed.

摘要: A rotatable member (40) such as a sprocket is rotatably mounted on a fixed shaft member (32), and a first oil passage (72) extending in a radial direction is formed by a thrust member (36) abutting an axial end surface of the rotating member. The inner end of the first oil passage communicates with a radial bearing interface (A) of the rotatable member, and an oil jet ejected from an orifice (68) of an oil nozzle (66) is directed to an open outer end of the first lubricating oil passage. Because the first oil passage is fixed in position, the radial bearing interface receives an adequate supply of lubricating oil fed from the oil nozzle. The other axial end of the rotating member may be provided with a second lubricating oil passage (82) which also extends in a radial direction, the second lubricating oil passage having an open outer end and an open inner end communicating with the radial bearing interface. The centrifugal force acting on the lubricating oil in the second lubricating oil passage promotes a favorable re-circulation of the lubricating oil, and hence a favorable lubrication.
