Abstract:
A method of processing Long Term Evolution (LTE) Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) messages by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. The method according to one embodiment includes receiving a first LTE MBMS message comprising information on one or more MBMS services from a network; and transmitting a second LTE MBMS message indicating a specific Multimedia Broadcast multicast service Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) area of an MBSFN area list and a specific MBMS service to the network after receiving the first LTE MBMS message, the UE receiving or being interested to receive the specific MBMS service of the one or more MBMS services. The MBSFN area list is included in system information.
Abstract:
An operation method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes: applying de-prioritization to one or more frequencies in a de-prioritization frequency list; receiving a de-prioritization cancellation command from a network; and handling the applied de-prioritization on the basis of the de-prioritization cancellation command.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an operation method carried out by user equipment in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: connecting to a first serving cell; connecting to a second serving cell; and handling configuration used for operating from the second serving cell when the second serving cell is released from being a serving cell. The first serving cell is a primary cell (PCell), and the second serving cell is a secondary cell (SCell).
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a random access (RA) procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) establishes connection with a first node and a second node, and transmits an RA preamble to the second node. If a number of RA preamble transmissions reaches a maximum number, the UE stops uplink (UL) transmission of all cells in a group to which the second node belongs, and transmits an indication indicating that transmission of the RA preamble has failed to the first node.
Abstract:
A method and user equipment (UE) are provided for receiving system information in a wireless communication system. The UE receives, from a base station, a master information block (MIB) indicating that the base station broadcasts a first system information block type 1 (SIB1) for a specific type of UE. The UE receives the first SIB1 for the specific type of UE when the MIB indicates that the base station broadcasts the first SIB1 for the specific type of UE, and receives a first set of at least one system information block (SIB) from the base station based on the first SIB1. The first set of at least one SIB is scheduled within a first bandwidth that is smaller than a second bandwidth for a second set of at least one SIB.
Abstract:
Discontinuous reception (DRX) operation in a wireless communication system is disclosed. According to this, when the UE received configuration information for a long discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle and a short DRX cycle from a network, and receive a data unit comprising at least one DRX command Medium Access Control (MAC) Control Element (CE) from the network, the UE starts using the long DRX cycle, if the data unit comprises two or more DRX command MAC CEs.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for operating time alignment timer (TAT). The method may comprise: operating a first TAT in a first medium access control (MAC) entity; operating a second TAT in a second MAC entity; and if the first TAT operated in the first MAC entity is expired, considering the second TAT operated in the second MAC entity as expired.
Abstract:
A method of transmitting and receiving a signal to and from a network at a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. The method includes steps of logging information about failure of a first connection establishment procedure if the first connection establishment procedure with the network has failed, and transmitting the logged information to the network when a second connection establishment procedure with the network is successful.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting information on interference for a device-to-device (D2D) connection in a wireless communication system is provided. A first mobile device detects interference on subframes allocated to a connection with a second mobile device, and transmits information on the subframes in which the interference is detected, to either the second mobile device or a network.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for transmitting mobility-related information in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a configuration for transmission of mobility-related information from a network during connection establishment, and transmits the mobility-related information to the network based on the configuration of the transmission of the mobility-related information.
