    摘要: A clock signal generating system of the present invention is provided for recording information on a disc. The disc has a plurality of recording tracks wobbled by a wobble signal having a predetermined frequency and a plurality of prepits disposed at positions having a predetermined phase relation with respect to a phase of the wobble signal. A clock signal is generated based on the wobble signal. A prepit signal is produced from the prepit. The phase of the wobble signal is compared with a phase of the prepit signal, thereby generating a phase adjusting signal. The phase of the clock signal is adjusted based on the phase adjusting signal. A recording clock signal for recording the information is produced by an adjusted clock signal.

    摘要: A clock signal generating system of the present invention is provided for recording information on a disc. The disc has a plurality of recording tracks wobbled by a wobble signal having a predetermined frequency and a plurality of prepits disposed at positions having a predetermined phase relation with respect to a phase of the wobble signal. A clock signal is generated based on the wobble signal. A prepit signal is produced from the prepit. An information recording apparatus for recording the record information onto the record medium is provided with: a pickup device for simultaneously emitting a light beam onto the information track and the adjacent track and then outputting a reproduction signal based on a reflection light from the information track and the adjacent track of the emitted light beam; an information extracting device for extracting the moving control information from the outputted reproduction signal; a moving control device for controlling the moving speed of the record medium on the basis of the extracted moving control information; and a recording device for recording the record information onto the record medium while the record medium is moved at the controlled moving speed.

    摘要: An information recording device can record a plurality of pieces of recording information, for instance, at different times, in an information recording medium provided by stacking first and second recording layers. A writing control element controls a writing element so that each piece of the information can be written over the first recording layer to the second recording layer.     摘要: A rotation control apparatus which can maintain an accurate rotating state even in a high density optical disk (DVD) having a structure such that parts of the sync signal are recorded at an interval different from that of the other sync signal parts. The apparatus has: a unit period signal generator for generating a period signal of a unit period; a pre-pit detector for detecting a pre-pit from the DVD; a phase difference detector for detecting a phase difference between the detection timing of the pre-pit and the unit period signal; and a holding circuit for holding the phase difference detected. The rotation of the DVD is controlled on the basis of the phase difference held at the holding circuit.
