摘要: A method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving, from a base station, a first indication to disable hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback for a number of instances of a multicast transport block (TB). The method also includes receiving, from the base station, a second indication identifying a value of the number of instances of the multicast TB. The method further includes receiving, from the base station, one or more instances of the multicast TB. The method still further includes determining, based on the one or more received instances, whether the multicast TB is recoverable. The method further includes selectively transmitting, to the base station, HARQ feedback after all instances of the multicast TB have been transmitted by the base station based on the determination of whether the multicast TB is recoverable.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a first transmission including encoded bits of a data packet and a second transmission including some or all of the encoded bits of the data packet. The first transmission associated with a first limited buffer rate matching (LBRM) configuration and the second transmission may be associated with a second LBRM configuration. The UE may process the first transmission and the second transmission based on the first LBRM associated with the first transmission being different than the second LBRM associated with the second transmission.

The method may include a user equipment (UE) receiving, from a base station, signaling configuring the UE with a semi-persistent (SP) channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) resource set. Additionally, the UE may receive, from the base station, signaling configuring the UE to communicate using multicast signaling via a multicast downlink shared channel. The UE may receive an activation command activating the SP CSI-RS resource set. The UE may apply a rule and based on the activation command and the rule perform rate matching on the multicast downlink shared channel around either multicast or unicast resources of the CSI-RS resource set.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit multiple repetitions of a paging early indication (PEI) signal to a user equipment (UE) to indicate that the UE is to receive paging signaling in a paging occasion. In some cases, a PEI occasion for transmitting a PEI repetition may have a scheduling conflict. For example, a PEI occasion may collide with other downlink signaling. A UE may implement techniques to resolve scheduling conflicts or collisions for PEI repetitions. For example, the UE may be configured to receive either colliding PEI signaling or colliding downlink signaling based on priorities of the signaling. Additionally, or alternatively, PEI signaling may be shifted (e.g., delayed) until after the downlink signaling ends. In some cases, a UE may be configured with a subset of blind decoding hypotheses for PEI decoding.

摘要: A resynchronization signal (RSS) may extend across multiple physical resource blocks (PRBs) or subframes, which may cause the RRS to be scheduled to overlap with other downlink transmissions. Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for management of RSS and one or more other transmission types that may have overlapping wireless resources with the RSS. If one or more other downlink transmissions are scheduled for resources that overlap with resources scheduled for an RSS transmission, the UE may receive the RSS transmission or the one or more other downlink transmissions, or a combination thereof, based on a prioritization of the transmission types of the one or more other downlink transmissions relative to RSS. The RSS transmission or the one or more other transmissions may be delayed, dropped, punctured, or rate-matched when the RSS transmission and the one or more other downlink transmissions conflict.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for multicast wireless communications are described. A base station may configure a user equipment (UE) for providing feedback for multicast transmissions from the base station while the UE is in an inactive or idle mode. Based on a configuration sent to the UE from the base station, the UE may determine resources or a timing advance (TA) to use for transmission of a feedback message for multicast communications. A base station may configure a UE with multiple TA commands, each corresponding to a TA value and a set of channel metrics associated with group of cells including a serving cell of the UE. Based on measure channel metrics at the UE, the UE may determine a TA to use for multicast feedback. TA values may be determined using neural network modeling.

摘要: In an embodiment, a UE selects between RS collision protocols to selectively monitor, on downlink resource(s) scheduled with overlapping transmissions of first and second RS types, either the first RS type or neither RS type. In another embodiment, a base station determines that a downlink resource(s) are scheduled with overlapping transmissions of first and second RS types, punctures the second RS type, and selectively transmits the first RS type on the overlapped downlink resource(s). In another embodiment, a base station establishes non-overlapping NPRS and eNPRS transmission schedules.
