摘要: A downhole magnetic ranging tool includes first and second axially spaced magnetic sources deployed in a downhole tool body. The first and second magnetic sources have magnetic moments that axially opposed one another. A magnetic field sensor is deployed axially between the first and second magnetic sources. The tool may be utilized, for example, in subterranean well twinning, well intercept, and well avoidance operations to obtain a separation distance and dip angle between a drilling well and a target well.

摘要: A method for measuring distortion of a projection objective, which includes: obtaining a plurality of first positional deviations between two groups of patterns formed respectively after two exposures performed in a same exposure field during a stepping and exposing process of the reticle stage (S21); obtaining a plurality of second positional deviations between two groups of patterns formed respectively after another two exposures performed in a same exposure field during a stepping and exposing process of the workpiece stage (S22); subtracting motional errors of the reticle stage and/or workpiece stage from each of the plurality of first and second positional deviations to obtain corresponding first and second corrected deviations (S43, S44); calculating differences each between a pair of corrected deviations (S45); and calculating the distortion of the projection objective by a fitting process (S46).

摘要: According to the present invention, there is provided a method of monitoring a fluid in a fluid carrying conduit comprising the steps of: monitoring a fluid characteristic at a first point and second point along the conduit substantially continuously; determining first and second quantities, being related to a differential with respect to time of the value of the fluid characteristic at the first and second points respectively; combining the first and second quantities to produce a two dimensional intensity function of time and a position variable and analyzing the magnitude of the intensity function to derive information relating to the fluid. The intensity function may represent a substantially continuous probability function, wherein its absolute value is related to the probability of a leak or theft having occurred in the conduit. Furthermore, a method of determining the presence and location of leaks in, or thefts from, the conduit by determining whether or not the magnitude of the intensity function satisfies pre-determined criteria is disclosed. A method of determining the speed of pressure waves propagating through a fluid flowing in a fluid carrying conduit by analyzing the two dimensional intensity function is also disclosed. An apparatus suitable for performing all of the above mentioned methods is also claimed.

摘要: An apparatus for determining an optical property of a set of cells is described. The apparatus may include a light source for providing a light signal, a light-conditioning unit configured to condition the light signal, and a diffractive structure. The diffractive structure may be configured to receive the conditioned light signal and produce diffracted light having plasmon-resonance properties and an angular spectrum. The angular spectrum may correspond to the set of cells when the set of cells are within a threshold distance from the diffractive structure. The apparatus further includes a light-collecting unit for collecting the diffracted light.

摘要: The disclosure provides a method for dynamically adjusting a switching loop. The method comprises the following steps: a network equipment in the switching loop determines current link costs of all links connected with the network equipment, wherein the network equipment determines the current link costs of the links according to initial link costs and link adjustment parameters of the links (S201); then the network equipment acquires the current link costs of all the links in the switching loop, and determines a main link of the switching loop, wherein the current link cost of the main link is less than or equal to a preset link cost (S203). The disclosure also provides a network equipment. With the solution of the disclosure, the link actually having an optimal link cost can be determined as the main link according to the current link cost, thus the problem in the related art that the transmission efficiency of the whole network is influenced by reason of determining the link having a worse current link cost as the main link is avoided, and the transmission efficiency and reliability of the main link and the whole network are improved.
