摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to tone mapping for a high-efficiency (HE) trigger-based (TB) null data packet (NDP) feedback physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU). A device may identify a frame received from a second device. The device may determine, based on the frame, a resource unit allocated to the device, wherein the resource unit is associated with a 20 MHz sub-channel of a bandwidth. The device may determine, based on the resource unit and the bandwidth, tones associated with a HE short training field (HE-STF) of a HE TB NDP feedback PPDU. The device may send the HE TB NDP feedback PPDU to the second device in the 20 MHz sub-channel, wherein the HE TB NDP feedback PPDU includes the tones.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to low latency preemption. A device may divide a first PPDU into a plurality of segmented PPDUs. The device may insert a plurality of time gaps between the plurality of segmented PPDUs, wherein the plurality of time gaps enable preemptive opportunities by a low latency transmitter. The device may identify a preemption request from a low latency transmitter of the one or more station devices during a first time gap between a first segmented PPDU and a second segmented PPDU. The device may preempt the second segmented PPDU based on a preemption bit in order to allow the low latency transmitter to transmit its low latency data.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media for high efficiency (HE) beacon and HE formats in a wireless network are disclosed. An apparatus of a high efficiency (HE) access point (AP), where the apparatus comprises processing circuitry configured select a tuple from the basic HE-MCS set of tuples, if a basic HE modulation and control scheme (MCS) (HE-MCS) and a number of spatial streams (NSS) set of tuples is not empty, and otherwise select the tuple from a mandatory HE-MCS and NSS set of tuples. The processing circuitry may be further configured to encode a beacon frame in a HE single user (SU) physical layer (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU), in accordance with the selected tuple, and configure the HE AP to transmit the HE SU PPDU. Null data packets formats, methods, computer readable media, and apparatuses are disclosed for multiple 20 MHz operations.

The processing circuitry is to: decode at least one signal field portion of a signal field of a Physical Layer Convergence Protocol (PLCP) Data Unit (PPDU) received over a bonded channel, the bonded channel comprising a plurality of subchannels including a punctured subchannel, the signal field portion on at least one unpunctured subchannel of the plurality of subchannels; determine, from the at least one signal field portion, information on a resource allocation for the device, the resource allocation indicating at least one resource unit (RU) used in a data field of the PPDU for the device; and decode a data field portion of the data field of the PPDU, the data field portion received on a part of the punctured subchannel based on the resource allocation.
