    Abstract: An operating method of a user equipment (UE) to save power of the UE in a wireless communication system is provided. The operating method includes receiving wake up signal (WUS) configuration information from a base station (BS), monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) based on the WUS configuration information, and stopping monitoring the PDCCH based on the WUS configuration information and operating in a short discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle, when a certain event occurs in Active time.

A method and an apparatus for transmitting a reference signal are provided. The method includes receiving, from a base station, a first parameter and a second parameter associated with a sound reference signal (SRS) by higher layer signaling, identifying a bandwidth for the SRS based on the first parameter and the second parameter, and transmitting, to the base station, the SRS based on the identified bandwidth for the SRS.

    Abstract: An electronic device for performing a voice recognition and a controlling method are provided. The method includes receiving a plurality of voice signals and a metadata signal in a non-audible frequency band regarding at least one of the plurality of voice signals, through the plurality of microphones, obtaining direction information and frequency band information regarding each of the plurality of voice signals and the metadata signal, identifying the plurality of voice signals and the metadata signal, respectively, based on the direction information and the frequency band information, identifying a voice signal of which direction information is same as direction information of the metadata signal and a voice signal of which direction information is different from direction information of the metadata signal, respectively, among the plurality of voice signals, and performing a voice recognition based on the voice signal of which direction information is different from the direction information of the metadata signal.

    Abstract: A metal-air battery includes a unit cell wound into a roll. The unit cell includes a negative-electrode metal layer having a first surface located in a circumferential direction of the roll and a second surface facing the first surface and located in the circumferential direction of the roll; a first electrolyte film and a first positive-electrode layer sequentially disposed on the first surface of the negative-electrode metal layer; and a second electrolyte film and a second positive-electrode layer sequentially disposed on the second surface of the negative-electrode metal layer. The unit cell is wound in a way such that the first positive-electrode layer and the second positive-electrode layer face each other.

    Abstract: For converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system and supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT), a channel state information (CSI) acquisition method includes transmitting CSI configuration information to a terminal, selecting a beam for transmitting a beamformed CSI reference signal (BF-CSI-RS) to the terminal, transmitting the BF-CSI-RS to the terminal using the selected beam, and notifying the terminal of a beamforming update. A base station for acquiring CSI in a mobile communication system includes a transceiver configured to transmit and receive signals, and a controller configured to control the transceiver to transmit CSI configuration information to a terminal, to select a beam for transmitting a BF-CSI-RS to the terminal, to transmit the BF-CSI-RS to the terminal using the selected beam, and to notify the terminal of a beamforming update.
