摘要: An inverter circuit (I.sub.3) is disclosed which includes a P-channel MOSFET (3) and a N-channel MOSFET (4) connected in series between a power supply (V.sub.DD) and a ground (GND). The inverter circuit further includes a P-channel MOSFET (5) and a N-channel MOSFET (6) connected in parallel between the gates of the FETs (3) and (4). The FETs (3) and (4) have their gates connected to receive testing mode signals (T.sub.E). In a testing mode operation, the FET (6) is rendered conductive to allow an input signal to be applied to the gate of the FET (4) through the FET (6). The FET (4), having an on-resistance lower than the FET (3), is driven into conduction in response to the output signal applied through the FET (6), thereby providing a slowly rising output signal. The slow rising output signal is free from undershoot or ringing.

The web has a high toughness tempered bainite structure, tempered martensite structure or a tempered mixed structure of bainite and martensite and the head rail has high wear resistance which prevents unstable destructive cracks from propagating. The rail can further contain one or more of 0.05 to 1.50 wt. % of Cr, 0.05 to 0.20 wt. % of Mo, 0.03 to 0.10 wt. % of V, 0.10 to 1.00 wt. % of Ni, and 0.005 to 0.050 wt. % of Nb.

摘要: An apparatus for instructing an operator to place a gearshift of a manual transmission in an optimum position in accordance with various operating parameters. An upshift zone is formulated and stored in a memory means and when operating conditions of the vehicle fall within the upshift zone, a plurality of timers begin counting for a predetermined amount of time and if operating conditions still fall within predetermined parameters, an upshift signal is issued. The apparatus recognizes if the engine is acting as a brake and if the engine is under a heavy load when accelerating and does not issue an upshift signal.

摘要: A vehicle level controller produces a level lowering command signal whenever the sprung mass of a road vehicle is higher than a given trim band and produces a level raising command signal when the sprung mass is below the trim band. The command signal is applied to a levelling system. The trim band is divided into a high (medium high), center (medium center) and low (medium low) regions. A vehicle level detector produces a signal which distinguishes a vehicle level in five different zones including a range higher than the trim band, a medium high region within the trim band, a medium center region within the trim band, a medium low region within the trim band and a range lower than the trim band. The level lowering and the level raising command signal are withdrawn whenever a signal from the level detector indicates the medium center region within the trim band.

摘要: An electrical storage battery, which includes a battery casing formed with a gas venting exhaust passage which communicates the interior of the battery casing to the atmosphere; a flame intercepting filter located at an intermediate portion of the gas venting exhaust passage and extending across it; and a means for grounding part of the vicinity of a part of the passage which is on the atmosphere side of the flame intercepting filter. Thereby, sparking is prevented from occurring from a high voltage electrical source outside the battery to any conducting film of electrolyte formed on the wall of the passage on the inner side of the filter, and thus explosion of hydrogen gas/oxygen mixture within the battery casing is guarded against.
