    摘要: For light irradiation transversely inclined with respect to the front of a vehicle lighting device that reflects light from a plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices toward the forward part of the lighting device via reflector, a structure is provided in which lights emitted from five semiconductor light emitting devices are reflected toward the forward part of a lighting device via reflector. A reflecting surface of the reflector is a parabolic cylindrical curved surface having a focal line extended horizontally. The five semiconductor light emitting devices are on the focal line at an interval. Each of the directions of the emitted lights is varied for each semiconductor light emitting device with respect to the focal line direction. Consequently, the light emitted from each of the semiconductor light emitting devices is not diffused vertically but only horizontally, thereby forming five oblong light distribution patterns in positions shifted from each other horizontally.

    摘要: A vehicle headlamp includes a projector-type lamp unit that performs two types of light distribution. The lamp unit is configured with a projection lens disposed on an optical axis Ax extending in an longitudinal direction of a vehicle, and a first light-source unit and a second light-source unit, both disposed to the rear of the projection lens. A low-beam light distribution pattern having sharp cut-off lines at an upper end portion is formed upon illumination of the first light-source unit. An additional high-beam light distribution pattern spreading upward from the cut-off lines is additionally formed upon illumination of the second light-source unit. Accordingly, a high-beam light distribution pattern is formed.

    摘要: A smaller-sized speaker cabinet developed in this invention is made of a mixture that is composed of a woody cellulose powder of proper physical properties and a synthetic resin blended with this powder. The resin is a non-chlorinated resin, and the cellulose powder consists of particles whose diameters are included in a range from about 5 μm to 500 μm. The cellulose powder is surface-treated to increase affinity for the resin, so that efficient manufacture of the cabinets of improved acoustic performance is now possible.

    摘要: The present invention takes as its objective to provide a fuel injection device, and a diesel engine equipped therewith, which can reduce the amount of NOx in the exhaust gas while maintaining the rate of fuel consumption satisfactory. This fuel injection device includes a pressure accumulator which accumulates fuel whose pressure has been elevated, a fuel injection valve which opens by the supply of the fuel from the pressure accumulator and injects the fuel, a supply conduit which supplies fuel from the pressure accumulator to the fuel injection valve, and two valve apparatuses which are connected in the supply conduit in parallel and each of which interrupts fuel supply to the fuel injection valve. And the fuel flow amount when one of the electromagnetic valves is open is set to be smaller than the fuel flow amount when the other electromagnetic valve is open; and, during fuel supply to the fuel injection valve, an electromagnetic valve opens first, and next an electromagnetic valve opens.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to prevent dazzlement from being caused by beams of light directly emitted from a light source, without requiring any bulky component member. A vehicular headlamp 1 comprises a light source 7, a reflector 6, a cut-line forming shade 9 for forming a cut line, and a condenser lens 8. The cut-line forming shade cuts off some beams of light emitted from the light source and reflected by the reflector and forms shaped beams of light. The condenser lens projects the shaped beams of light forwards and radiates them according to a light distribution pattern. An opening is formed between the condenser lens and the reflector. A dazzling-light cutting shade 15 for cutting off beams of light emitted toward a region above the light distribution pattern is disposed between the light source and the opening.

    摘要: A vehicle headlamp having a lamp unit that emits a beam in a low beam light distribution pattern which includes a hot zone, the lamp unit being formed by a lamp unit main body and a pair of secondary reflectors provided on both sides of the lamp unit main body. The lamp unit main body emits, via a main reflector, a beam that covers a wide area with the base light distribution pattern; and the secondary reflectors, installed so as to swing horizontally with respect to the lamp unit main body, emit a beam that has light distribution patterns forming the hot zone. The secondary reflectors swing and move the position of the hot zone to the right or left, thus illuminating the road ahead even when the vehicle is running on a curved road with the base light distribution pattern kept facing the vehicle front direction.
