An auxiliary leg for a household cooking utensil pivotally mounted on an electrical terminal housing. A bracket is secured to the outer walls of the housing and matching apertures on the sidewalls of both are aligned for insertion of the opposing ends of a wirelike generally U-shaped leg structure. An outwardly extending projection is provided on the bracket adjacent each of the sidewall apertures to position the leg structure in a horizontal position beneath the housing or in a vertical downwardly extending operative position. The leg structure length exceeds the length of the utensil legs thereby effecting a tilting of the utensil when it''s placed in the operative position.

A crosslinkable thermoplastic composition is described comprising (1) an unsaturated thermosettable polyester, (2) a polymerizable crosslinking agent, (3) a free-radical initiator, and (4) a filler material and/or a reinforcing agent selected from organic and inorganic fibers, which composition is a freeflowing solid at room temperature and has a melting point above about 65*C (150*F). The composition is especially useful in injection molding operations.

The container has a supporting tray particularly adapted to position the contained product or produce above the container bottom so that such is positioned out of contact with any fluid of the mentioned medium. The apparatus includes a pair of spaced rotary cutters adjustable to vary the distance between them to accommodate various thicknesses of articles to be trimmed, and a spring biasing member on one cutter to allow automatic movement of the cutter in the event that the article is warped or there are slight variations in the thickness of the edge being trimmed.

A copolymer of styrene and methacrylic acid having from about 3 to about 15% by weight of methacrylic acid is produced at a polymerization temperature of between about 65* to 120*C. using short half life free radical initiators in a process which employs the continuous or incremental addition of methacrylic acid during at least the first part of the polymerization step. The copolymer produced has excellent tensile properties and a higher heat distortion temperature than the copolymers of styrene and methacrylic acid heretofore known.
