摘要: Inventive concepts disclosed herein are directed to a capillary tube and a force assisted sample ejection mechanism. The capillary tube may be at least one of dissolvable or breakable. The force assisted sample ejecting mechanism releasing at least part of the sample of the first liquid from the capillary tube by at least one of abruptly shaking the capillary tube at least once or breaking the capillary tube.

摘要: A fluid level detecting system provides an input signal at a specific frequency to a sample in a container. A probe contacts the energized sample and provides a signal to a level sensing circuit. The level sensing circuit amplifies the signal from the probe and then bandpass filters, tuned to the specific frequency, the amplified signal. This filters out extraneous signals received from, for example, a cover on the container, and specifically identifies when the probe has contacted the sample fluid by comparing the filtered signal to threshold levels.

摘要: Methods and reagents are disclosed for preparing a liquid solution of a receptor. The methods comprise combining in a liquid medium the receptor, a chelating agent and a C2-C6 polyol. An amount of the chelating agent and the C2-C6 polyol is sufficient to achieve a stable and active receptor in the liquid solution, which is maintained at a temperature of about 2° C. to about 40° C. The compositions may be employed in assays for the determination of analytes that include receptor-binding analytes.
