摘要： The present invention relates to fabrics having a special structure, methods of producing the fabrics, and various articles including clothes comprising such fabric. Specifically, the fabrics of the invention are characterized in that many narrow strips forming an overlapping structure are combined together so that each overlap between adjacent narrow strips provides an opening in the width direction of the strips. The methods of producing the fabrics are characterized in that narrow strips are put one on top of another while slightly shifting the positions thereof to form an overlapping structure, followed by combining the adjacent narrow strips while maintaining the overlap. Where used as material for clothes, for instance, these fabrics produce clothes that prevent the skin of the wearer from being exposed directly to sunlight and rain and have unique features including a high fashionability and a high air permeability ensuring a good ventilation. In addition to clothes the fabrics also serve to produce novel variations of various articles including clothing items other than clothes, bedclothes, soil and sand fixing sheets, agricultural and horticultural greenhouse, footwear, perishable storage containers, beach umbrellas, tents, filtering materials, chair covering materials, partitions and curtains.

摘要： This invention is converned with a panel device which is useful in the display and furniture arts. The panel device incorporates a plurality of vertical supports which engage panel members. The vertical supports are interconnected via a plurality of double hinges. The double hinges consist of a plurality of clip hinge members. Each double hinge consists of at least two clip hinge members. Pairs of parallel vertical supports are interconnected by a pair of double hinges said double hinges comprising at least four clip hinge elements. The clip hinge elements are formed from a ribbon of a suitable flexible material. The ends of the clip hinge members incorporate opposing double reverse bends which are adapted to engage and be secured in U shaped channels which are an integral part of the vertical support members. The reverse bends may further incorporate locking tabs to assist in securing the clip hinge elements into the vertical supports. Pairs of parallel vertical supports are secured in fixed relationship with each other by horizontal supports. The interconnecting vertical and horizontal supports define frame which receive and secure panel members. The panel device consists of a plurality of related panel sections which can be rotated throughout a 360 arc in relation to each other. The vertical supports incorporate integral means for gripping appropriate panels.

摘要： A partition system includes connecting tubes having rectangular apertures and cooperating with panels provided with upwardly directed tabs insertable within the apertures for supporting a plurality of the panels. A retention assembly attachable at the top of each tube includes a plate horizontally insertable into slots in two adjacent panels and carrying a vertically adjustable threaded member releasably engageable with the top of the tube to apply a biasing force urging the panel tabs upwardly into the tube apertures to secure the assembly of tubes and panels. The threaded member is subsequently operable in reverse to apply an opposite force between the tube and panels to facilitate separation of the panels from the tube.

The load bearing rectangular frame has a horizontal top member, horizontal bottom member and two vertical side members, all members formed from a common cross section of hollow double channel press formed sheet steel rigidly joined together. Two vertical caps of semi-circular cross section are attached to the edges of the vertical side members, extending from top to bottom. Lock connecting means are located at the semi-circular center of the two vertical caps at the top and bottom, and the unit is supported by a pair of legs.

摘要： A modular welding screen apparatus for shielding welding work locations. The apparatus is fabricated from a series of easy-to-handle panel sections which incorporate independent welding curtains within their framework respectively. The sections which are constructed of square tubular material, pivot relative to one another through a series of rotatable connections which further permits the separate panel section to be arranged to more effectively seal off the welding work location. Interchangeable parts lend to the invention the ability of constructing an individual apparatus as desired, together with the ability of rotating the securely restrained foot supports relative to the welding shield, as necessary.
