摘要: A molding device for the shaping of a material includes: a lower mold body, or die, made from an electrically conductive material and including a molding zone intended to be in contact with the material to be shaped; an upper mold body, or punch, made from an electrically conductive material, and including a molding zone intended to be in contact with the material to shaped; a removable intermediate part, or core, made of an electrically conductive material, and intended to be inserted between the die and the punch; induction elements for generating a magnetic field that surrounds the die, the punch and the intermediate part; these three components being electrically insulated in pairs, so that the opposite faces of the intermediate part and the die, and those of the intermediate part and the punch, delimit two air gaps in which the magnetic field flows which induces currents at the surface of the molding zones of the die and the punch, thus making it possible to localize the action of the inductors at the surface of the molding zones.

摘要: The present invention provides a molding die and a control method thereof aimed at shortening cycle time from heating to cooling of a molding cavity of the die with a simple and inexpensive configuration. In a molding die equipped with a molding cavity to mold a base material, a magnetic die material is used for the molding cavity, cooling means to feed a refrigerant is installed inside the molding cavity along a molding face and heating means by high-frequency induction is installed around the cooling means, and the molding cavity is alternately heated and cooled repeatedly by the heating means and the cooling means when the base material is molded with the molding cavity. Here, the cooling means includes a tubular body installed in the molding cavity, feeds a refrigerant when the molding cavity is cooled, and is in a hollow state of not containing the refrigerant when the molding cavity is heated.

摘要: Mold assemblies for compression molding of footwear components include molds, heating elements, conductor plates, insulating layers and carrier trays. An upper mold assembly is placed into a fixture attached to an upper press platen. A lower mold assembly slides into and out of a fixture attached to a lower press platen. Heating elements within the mold assemblies connect to electrical contacts in the fixtures when the mold assemblies are installed in the fixtures, thereby providing electrical power to the heating elements and heating the molds. A conveyor is positioned to receive a mold assembly from (or transfer a mold assembly to) the lower press platen fixture when the lower platen is in a lowered position.
