    摘要: A door system for a motor vehicle includes a door, an environmental sensor for detecting an obstacle in the vicinity of the motor vehicle, a door sensor for outputting an output signal as a function of the initiation of the opening of the door, and a control unit for detecting an imminent collision between the door and the obstacle as a function of an output signal of the environmental sensor and for triggering a warning device such that a warning may be output by the warning device in response to the detection of an imminent collision between the door and the obstacle. During the triggering of the warning device, the control unit distinguishes between at least two selectable warning stages, a first warning stage and a second warning stage, and the selection of a warning stage by the control unit is a function of the output signal of the door sensor.

The detection system includes an object detection sensor located on the powered door for sensing an object within an adjustable sensing zone. A door position sensor senses position of the door relative to at least one of an open and closed door position. A controller adjusts the sensing zone of the object detection sensor as a function of the sensed door position.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided for reducing the occurrence of vehicle door bumps against an adjacent object facing the door. The apparatus comprises one or more distance sensors mounted on the vehicle for measuring distance D from the door to the object, a brake for inhibiting outward movement of the door toward the object, a warning system and a controller coupled to the distance sensors, warning system and brake for applying the brake to inhibit further outward movement of the door when D≦D(MIN), a predetermined minimum distance away from the object. In a preferred embodiment, a first driver warning is activated when the initial door-to-object spacing D(INIT)≦D(SAFE), the maximum outward door reach. A second warning is desirably added when the door begins moving toward the object or has reached about (D(INIT))/2 and a third warning is activated when the brake is engaged.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method, and to an arrangement, for optimizing the operation of a door closer at different phases of opening and closing of the door. The door closer is provided with a force transmission shaft (1) turning in accordance with the movements of the door and with a spring element (2) operationally connected thereto. The opening of the door takes place against the force of the spring element (2). According to the invention, at the closing phase of the door the energy of the spring element (2), exceeding the return force of the spring element (2) needed to accomplish the desired closing movement of the door, is recovered through simultaneous braking of the closing movement of the door for the main part of the closing movement. When the door is only somewhat open any more, preferably under 5.degree., a final force securing the closing of the door is accomplished by making use of said recovered energy. For putting the method into practice, the door closer is provided with rotor (4), stator (5) and energy storing device (7), arranged to serve as an electric generator or as an electric motor as required.
