摘要: Provided is a high frequency (HF) leakage current return wire-contained motor drive cable configured in a manner that one or multiple drive dielectric core wires (2) and one or multiple HF leakage current return wires (5) are arranged adjacent to and in close contact in neighborhoods thereof to thereby reduce inductances of the HF leakage current return wires (5). Concurrently, the drive dielectric core wires (2) and the HF leakage current return wires (5) are arranged substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction and are stranded; and a sheath (8) is provided without a shield being provided outside of the strand wires.

摘要: A cable having an electrically conducting wire with a cross sectional shape defined by a simple closed curve having from three to eight concave portions separated by an equal number of convex portions. The simple closed curve has no point where the radius of curvature is less than one-sixth (⅙) of an overall radius of the wire and no point where adjacent curves or lines intersect at an angle. The alternating concave and convex portions of the cable's cross-sectional shape may have substantially the same curvature. The cross-sectional shape of the cable avoids sharp angles and fight curves.

摘要: A current conductor made of braided wire is provided for use in applications of over 10 A/mm2 density or in pulsating applications. The current conductor is formed by braiding conductor-containing groups (11); the groups (11a, 11b) intersect one another at an angle. The braid has a cross section of closed profile, and within the cross section a spacer (12) is positioned for preserving the shape of the profile and for maintaining spaced the braid portions facing one another. The angle of intersection of the mutually intersecting groups (11) is 90?±30?.

摘要: A superconducting cable has a plurality of superconducting wires wound around a core material (former) in a multilayered manner. The superconducting wires employ a twisted filament type superconducting wire having spiral superconducting filaments and an untwisted filament type superconducting wire having straight superconducting filaments. The layer in which an applied magnetic field is large and of which the low loss effect is expected is formed of twisted filament type superconducting wires, and the other layers are formed using the untwisted filament type superconducting wires; thus the AC loss can be reduced effectively. Thus, in the superconducting cable, the AC loss can be effectively reduced while a degradation of the current characteristics and the increase of cost are suppressed.
